Ok after careful consideration....You all are gonna have to rewatch the last video to learn. I may put up another "how to" video at some point.... but for now you all will have to just rewatch it to death. Yall stay asking how I do my own hair...I feel for it... and wish myself luck. The amount of care you put into it makes a difference. I've also been doing my own hair since middle school and grew up on YouTube university. Imma need to see Whatchu working with fr. I do free virtual and $10 in person. Nomore booking without knowledge. Yall will not say "we didnt discuss" "that's not what I wanted" "hey you can stop then". Crotchet is my favorite service to provide. I love a good instant loc, reconstruction, or loc repair. You'd never get me to hate this needle no matter how much it stabs me😅😬...If you need some TLC in your hair please come sit in my chair. I'm transforming lives around here. And stop locing your hair to stop not take care of it. The amount of reconstructions I've done lately is insane. On April 24th 2021, I started my locs(1st slide). My aunt @tayaluvslocs started with coils. Got my grid straight and I crocheted after 5 weeks. It's been 5yrs. My hair has touched my butt and I'm trimming up. I think I've hit my length goal. Might cut it in half and grow it out all healthy. Just did a fresh crotchet for the anniversary. I will prolly keep these in my head forever... the freedom has been a pivotal part of my growth journey. Be ok with having less control over the uncontrollable. My hair is gonna do what it wants and always includes not holding a curls or a hair in place. I could complain forever about what style won't stay, what hair will stick up, or what's uncomfortable OR I could just enjoy the journey and appreciate the beautiful things it's taught me and how much more I have to learn along the way. 🤷🏽‍♀️ the glass is Half Full. Not Half Empty. Honestly. It's really like 99% full with my locs cause I promise I don't feel like figuring out my hair everyday again. by @myshytshow

The needle been working hard…I love a good crotchet. I wish I could completely replace retwists, but over crotcheting will lead to, basically, ripping the locs apart. Over doing anything can be too much. Every 4-6 months depending on hair growth and density. Do repairs when necessary. No more interlocking if you can help it. And remember… moisturize, moisturize, MOISTURIZE.#dclocs #mdlocs #dmvloctitian by @myshytshow

Long time no 👀👀,I’ve been working hard, not hardly working. I’ve been overwhelmed by adulting and it’s had me stuck. Recently started doing it alone and it’s been whopping my ass mentally and financially. I coming back out to get to that bag. I’m switching the schedule around. I work during the day so I’m moving to evenings and weekends only. To those that followed suit and still been down with me, you’re much appreciated. P.s. This is my best explanation of how to do a 3 strand twist…there’s only 1way. However I’ve seen y’all do it…it’s wrong. 3strands means 3strands not 3locs into 2strands…. THREEEE STRANDSSSS!!!!!It’s been a lil min…I got a 9-5🥲…but I’m still doing hair. I start in October so book as many appts as you can before the 6th because I’ll be shifting my appt times around until I get the hang of my new work schedule. Hope to hear from you soon🙂P.s. Come prepared to be taken care of. I stand firm in diligence and attention to detail with everything I do. I’ve noticed how much focus is put on the speed of a retwist. 1)there’s nothing relaxing about rushing2) you cannot catch every (possible) problem racing thru someone’s head3)SLOW TF DOWN…why are you rushingTake your time. Show love to the locs and the scalps you’re servicing. Nobody (unless agreed upon) is paying to be beat up and yanked around for you to fit in 7 clients in 8hrs. I love doing my mom’s hair. I started her locs and have been maintaining them for almost with my cousin’s help @locsofloveby_lania. Her loc anniversary is coming up I believe. And she’s due for a retwist next week. Soooo excited 😁 by @myshytshow
