We did something different in Atlanta. ❤️

On September 13, an idea Atlanta's Fragrance Designer had for years finally became real: the Top Perfumer Competition. And it was so much more than a perfume-making event!

My Signature Scent took something people often think belongs to trained professionals—the art of creating fragrance—and put it into the hands of ordinary people. People walked into the room without being professional perfumers, tested their knowledge of fragrance, trusted their noses, created their own scents, and competed for the title of Top Perfumer.

The audience didn't just watch the competition—they became part of it by creating, smelling, and judging. We had fragrance challenges, prizes, raffles, shopping, music, and moments that made the entire room part of the experience.

We even reimagined the traditional vendor experience. Every attendee received event-funded Top Perfumer Bucks to spend with businesses in The Shoppe, and competitors won even more throughout the night. Winners picked their own prizes using the Bucks they won.

We weren't simply teaching people how to make perfume. We turned fragrance creation into live competition, entertainment, and audience participation and built an entire experience around it.

And the people who showed up understood the assignment! They experimented, competed, shopped, and cheered. They smelled A LOT of perfume. They supported complete strangers. And ultimately, they helped us crown Atlanta's Top Perfumer. 🏆

To everyone who attended, competed, partnered, vended, worked behind the scenes, and trusted this vision before you could fully see it—thank you.

You helped us make the inaugural Top Perfumer Competition something we'll never forget!

capturing the people, the personalities, the fragrance opinions, the unexpected conversations, and all the little moments that made the night feel like an experience.

No script. No checklist. No forced interviews.

Just real people, real reactions, good fragrance, and the freedom to be curious.

Because sometimes the best part of an event isn’t what’s happening on the stage…

Hey, Atlanta! Are you ready for the perfume competition for ordinary people?

That's right, you don't need to know how to create perfume to compete for the title of Atlanta’s Top Perfumer.

The contestants are chosen from the audience, and we'll teach you everything you need to know and provide all the materials.

Even if you're not chosen to compete, we've got you! There will be fragrance challenges and raffles throughout the evening, and the audience chooses the winner.

Oh yeah, everyone gets Top Perfumer Bucks to spend in our on-site Shoppe featuring local businesses. Aaaaand the winners choose their own prizes!
