WHAT A YEAR IT’S BEEN FOR MYSTEE!

Thank you so much to everyone who’s been a part of it! From @focomx to @bluciferfest to touring through the Midwest and playing lots and lots of Denver and FoCo shows, we love yall so much!

We’re (most likely) not doing any more Mystee shows until the new year so that we can focus on writing and recording our first full length album, so we’ll deffo be popping back up with a vengeance in the new year. In the meantime, we’ll be working hard to create something really special for yall to listen to in 2027. Can’t wait to get these new songs out into the world!!

JULY JULY JULY

How do I describe the most insane (in a good way) month of my entire life so far?? Well first of all I got so many photos that I could barely fit half of them on this collage (slide !12!). July was a month of touring and catching up with friends across the country, a month of staying in Denver too late because my friends found out I’d never seen Cars before and needed to immediately correct that, a month of crowd surfing for the first time ever, of sweating through the overalls I finally found back stage at HQ, a month of letting my bluce loose, of drinking 48 beers outside a gas station, of yeeing all of my haws, of horses and rodeos and bolo ties and cowboy hats, but MOST importantly, July was a month of friendship and love and community.

I can’t even begin to put into words how grateful I am that I have gotten to know the Denver music scene and how honored I am to even be the tiniest part of it. This is a whole world of people who love each other so much and are there for each other and I truly feel like @bluciferfest showed me the meaning of life. I’m still not over it and with any luck I never will be. Okay that’s enough. I love yall so much! 🐴💙

Thanks for coming to my monthly collage! Swipe all the way to the end to see it!

My dear, talented pals @mysteemusic swung through Milwaukee recently and it was such a lovely + homey reminder of how beautiful the passage of time can be. I think of how wonderful the music scene in Colorado is, and how welcoming and community-centered it can be, a place where you can show up as yourself every time.

They’ve got some shows this summer that you must catch!

See you guys soon? ♥️ by @mysteemusic

Confused about all the things and stuff we’ve got coming up? We were too so we made this helpful little infographic so you won’t miss a Mystee opportunity for the rest of the summer. See you at the show! by @mysteemusic

@mysteemusic will be live on KGNU’s Kabaret this Tuesday, July 21, from 7-8pm. Kabaret is a weekly live showcase of local musical talent on @kgnu. Tune in at 88.5FM/1390AM, at kgnu.org or on the KGNU Mobile App.

Fort Collins-based band Mystee brings a blend of nostalgic indie rock, femme pop, and raw rock & roll energy to the stage. Originally the solo project of songwriter Ilana Held, Mystee has grown into a full band crafting songs full of heartbreak, vulnerability, and electric emotion. With influences ranging from indie rock to shoegaze, Mystee invites listeners into a world where whimsy meets powerful storytelling.
