Surprise Sophie 🤳 !
Minor tweaks will need to be done but overall pleased of my semi-closet cosplay. ❤️

To sum up:
- blouse was thrifted and altered.
- wool baret came from Vinted as well.
- earrings were from on my Seung Mina
- wig from Jill Valentine
- bangle and 2 buttons came from my belated grandmother.
- circle skirt was in my closet and altered
- flowers ended being the expensive part and came from Vinted and AliExpress (also altered)

On to next year!

Long overdue photos are arriving from @kingdomofelfia made by @barts.gramercy .
The gown was completed within 1 week using exclusively materials that were already in my possession.
The idea was a combined LOTR and Games of Thrones vibe.

Sadly incomplete but it does not take away our strength: caring for each other, who ever you are and wherever you come from. 😘 Make your wishes and dreams a reality at Elfia. 🌟

It was and is my true honor and privilege to know these other ambassadors. 😘 To have done our role, even if we had to step down due to circumstances. Together we stand and still believe in the free spirit of Elfia. 🌟

TLTR: @kingdomofelfia Haarzuilens goodbye was hard but let us move forward and only keep the good memories. ❤

This edition's starting point was hard. My dear friend @neo.photography.be could not join due to a serious circumstance, while we both looked forward to it for months. 😥 He's luckily ok, that is far more important and for our planned trip, I managed to find solutions for both days.

Saturday my family attended. My son joined me and he loved being a "fancy pirate" enormously. He said hi to every pirate he saw! This little Elfian has been present every year in 1 edition since his birth.
My parents could say their "goodbye Haarzuilens" since we started our Elfia journey at Haarzuilens in 2014.
The first day could not end better: sharing the last Haarzuilens visit with my family, while seeing friends (also my dear colleague ambassadors) and making new friends.
We had photos to remember this memorable day. ❤

Sunday was time to spend with my Punzie, @_mermaid_naomi 😎, while hanging around with @barts.gramacy a bit as well. The feared rain did not come. ☺ I had good chats with people, and saw some friends back like @narakubrock , @calssara , @binky_cos and finally met @alpacaash !! To name a few awesome things. ❤
Yet as an ambassador, I knew a hard time was coming too. (Hence the present ladies made their costumes in Elfia colours.)
All present ambassadors had a good chat and took some photos. But it was time to say goodbye to our role and the location of Haarzuilens. Needless to say both were hard, but our free spirits will remain! Made friendships while being in a fantasy world, and realizing thàt world changes, is hard. Lots of mixed emotions that day. For now I cherish the positive fresh made memories. ❤

Finally posting one of my personal highlights from 2024! 😍
Our long awaited Queen group debuted at @factsconvention. 😊
Before COVID-19 we had a complete group, but then due to time and private (health) circumstances, former band members quit cosplay and I had to find new members.

So thanks again my C4C friends for falling in and helping me to realise one of my dream groups! 😘

We performed live at Facts spring and might return.
