Nearly 125 Years Old — Yaru Wora, Sumba.

We met a grandmother who is nearly 125 years old.

She is more than just an elderly woman. She is living history — carrying almost 125 years of stories, memories, traditions, and changes that we may never have the chance to hear again.

Sometimes, we value objects more than we value human life. We carefully preserve things because we consider them precious, yet we often forget that a person who has lived for nearly 125 years is far more precious.

Almost 125 years of life is extraordinary.

And we may never know if, in the future, we will have the chance to meet someone who has lived this long again.

Thank you, Grandma, for allowing us to share a small moment with you in Yaru Wora. 🤍
