Hello there, everyone!

If you'd like to spread the word about our fundraiser garage sale happening on August 1st, we have assembled a folder with variants ready for usage.

We'd appreciate as much help as possible with this as all funds from this event go towards the fund for the assessments to attempt to qualify NDIS support (as well as giving them short term assistance against the racist, ableist society they face every day.).

Treatment for disabled black trans community member

This person is a good friend of mine who has been suffering for YEARS in pain with a myriad of physical conditions. They are often bedbound or in serious pain.

Let’s get them the support they deserve!!

QTPOC Intellectual disability campaign update

New Goal: $2,600

The initial $1500 for the autism assessment has been raised and they have had their first visit with the psychiatrist! They have been found to have level 2 autism support needs.

Our next goal is the OCD assessment, there have been some setbacks though so we have to update the campaign goal...

First they had an unpaid fine and it got to the point where they could be arrested. They had no other choice but to use the campaign money to pay it off.

Now have recently experienced an extreme form of disability discrimination and a medical emergency seperately which I will go into more on the next slide.

The police were called on them for having an autistic meltdown. The next day they were told they had to go to the police station within two hours or they would be arrested. This meant they had to use some of the money for an uber, as well as other ubers to move some of their stuff out of an abusive situation.

The day after they had a medical emergency that required surgery. Their partner is also disabled so neither of them could cook or drive so they had to use more money for ubers and food.

Because of the police being called on them, they now have to go through the traumatic experience of the court system. Thanks to your support they are able to get a letter from the psychologist supporting their autism to the court.

However, this is going to be an incredibly difficult time for them, especially having lots of trauma from situations like this before. The more money we can raise, the easier a time we can make it for them.

Altogether this moves the goal for the OCD assessment ($1500) up by $1,100.

Note: this only covers what they have had to take out of the campaign so far. Let’s exceed this goal so they can properly support themselves and ease some of the stress that was already too much to deal with before having to deal with the legal system and surgery. I am also sugarcoating the severity of what they have been through for the sake of their own privacy. by @myth_thing

Hi, hi, hello.

I am doing an art sale, over the interwebs of some small, postcard sized pieces as a bit of a test to see if people would like such a thing.

MIX unfortunately hasn't gone down as hoped, it's still actively available (on the very same ko-fi!) but I feel like I haven't promoted it properly or people were just weary of such a thing. I do apologise for that and I hope something will work for this person as we are losing time actively.

A few things to keep in mind:

Yes, worldwide shipping, all costs that are incurred are being covered by me personally and will not effect what has been given. Only thing you should keep in mind is ko-fi's fee in that department.

Most works are experimental and have minor defects like tape damage, especially around the white sides. My apologies. You should be able to see these easily though.

Works will be sent individually. Sent out probably in a few days from purchase.

Fifth MIX highlight and a new week, it's Julian's work! Here is a small taste of the works he gave to MIX.

Julian was really the only MP person who was able to give to MIX and he did deliver with these extremely fun self portraits. The improvement he's been getting over the years I've known him has been wild! Definitely worth taking a look at.

Fourth MIX highlight is here and it's Nadira's works. Here is a lovely sampler of the gorgeous works that Nadira gave for MIX.

My favourite type of artist portfolio is of artists who are able to use different mediums and still have their own voice manifest within each medium and I'm sure you can agree that Nadira has that! Everything is simply beautiful and for some reason they could all be hanging in a small, sweet restaurant? Like one where everyone knows everyone. Nadira's works have that kind of warmth.

By the way, Nadira's art account is @nadsarchive_ if you want it! :-)

Third MIX highlight and our second week, it's KyberQ's work! Here is a peak into the marvelous art he has given to the project.

He's given the most important and powerful works of the bunch, all being protest art for Palestine.

They are simply wonderful, and we are currently working on a link to a folder or something so you can access them without having to buy MIX, they're simply too important and need to be shared around, I really want to see them everywhere. They certainly deserve that.

Second MIX highlight, and it's of Ash's work. Somehow, he was still able to submit despite dealing with the tail end of highschool and most of his work is quite familiar and lovely.

This is a sneak peak of the work he's offered, mostly fan art that I'm sure fans of his work would be quite excited with.
