C'est à travers la contemplation que je me suis trouvée.

Et c'est elle qui, profondément, guide mon travail. La photographie m'a appris l'observation, la patience, mais aussi à entrevoir la poésie dans chaque moments de vie, aussi banals soient-ils.

La lumière est ma plus fidèle alliée.

Je me laisse porter par son rythme, ses métamorphoses, ses silences.
J'aime observer la manière dont elle transforme un espace, révèle un détail, dessine une présence ou fait naître une émotion.
Elle devient alors une matière à part entière, presque vivante, avec laquelle je compose.

J'aime penser ma photographie comme un art discret.

Une présence qui se glisse sans bruit, qui observe sans interrompre.
Quelque chose de presque invisible, de timide, qui ne cherche pas à déranger le réel mais simplement à en recueillir quelques fragments.

Mon appareil est ainsi devenu une extension de moi-même, un prolongement de mon regard et de ma sensibilité.

À travers chaque image, je dépose une part de ce que je suis. J'y laisse des morceaux de mon âme, des visions intérieures, des émotions parfois difficiles à nommer.

Photo series : "Bouquet"

This series, which focuses on a variety of colors, shapes, and emotions, could be compared to a bouquet 💐
Each shot, so each flower, is different, but the whole together forms a harmonious and coherent whole.
Each photo has its own story, its own shape, its own flavor, it resonates in each of us in a different way and through the uniqueness of each photo, a whole, a whole is born. And that's precisely what I wanted to convey.

I am happy to finally present this series to you, which is surely the most important one I have been able to do so far.

I watched, in Paris, the multitude of visions that scrolled before my eyes. I didn’t know which way to turn. In my opinion, some environments are more conducive to creation than others, and it is in Paris that I found my main source of inspiration.
When you start taking photos, everything becomes matter to look at, everything becomes matter to photograph. We observe more precisely, meticulously, we dissect the angles, we try to find meaning in the banal. I would almost say that we make it special: the shade of trees on gravel, a passerby, birds, a ray of sunshine...
I don’t photograph automatically. I observe, sometimes I wait, I think about what I would like to say with what I capture. by @mytharais

Photo series : "The Quiet Hour"

It was a foggy day.
Dad came to me and asked if I wanted to join him for a walk in the forest.
I protested: “But it’s raining, it’s cold, and there’s fog!”
Yet, a few moments later, I found myself following him, camera in hand, with no expectations at all.

The first steps into the forest stopped me in my tracks. The silence was almost unreal. There wasn’t another soul in sight. Only the two of us, wrapped in mist. It’s a feeling I’ll never forget.

The usual noise of the world seemed to exist somewhere beyond the trees.
With cold, rain-soaked, trembling hands, I photographed that silence.

"The Quiet Hour" isn’t just a title or a metaphor. It’s exactly what that walk felt like. A brief moment when the world seemed to hold its breath. by @mytharais

Each wave, each tide carries the memory of moments washed away by time. The sea is a cradle for forgotten hours, where lost memories drift endlessly beneath the fluids. by @mytharais

Photo series : "Lull"
35mm • 2026 • 3/3

After the strong winds, the pouring rain and the rumbling mountain always come the lull. A moment of truce, peace and calm before the cycle repeats itself over and over again, exactly in the order of the series I realized: the arrival of dark, threatening clouds that fall violently on the mountain, before moving away and letting life resume its course.
In the meantime, the meadows and valleys have never been so green, the birds have never sung so much and I have never felt so peaceful.

In this series, which closes the three-part series I made, and is therefore the last one, the mountain is soothing, welcoming. Through its three different states, I captured the mountain in three facets that could almost be polar opposite. It’s really impressive and fascinating.

Photo series "No longer welcomed"

Winds rising, skies darkening, birds fleeing, the mountain growling... Just as we were no longer welcome here. A strong feeling of unease. Something about the atmosphere is off.
This photo series is directly in the continuity of the previous series which is complementary to it "The calm before the storm".

I find it interesting how much the weather can change the atmosphere of a place. Here, the lack of sunlight and those dark, heavy clouds completely shift the mood of the landscape.
It’s crazy how something as simple as a change in weather can also change the way we experience nature. The same place can suddenly feel completely different.

Through raw blacks and whites, I captured the mountain in a very different way from the other series.
I wanted to show it as thunderous, threatening, uncontrolled and uncontrollable. But still, so lonely.
Immortalizing this moment felt like giving in to its sheer size. As much as it might look otherwise, I was more of a spectator than an actor. by @mytharais

Photo series : "The calm before the storm"

This series is the first of three.
Every moment of beauty holds the quiet threat of darkness. In this series more than ever.

A moment suspended in time, caught somewhere between stillness and anticipation. Something is coming, just not showing for the moment. An invisible pressure.
Through these three series, I want to explore weather not simply as a natural phenomenon, but as a kind of shifting atmosphere.
This first chapter is devoted to the mountains in their most fragile and peaceful state. The images are quiet, almost motionless. There is a sense of loneliness and stillness, as if time itself had slowed down.
That's what I felt when I reviewed all these pictures. And "The calm before the storm" appeared as an evidence.

Yet this calm is not ENTIRELY innocent.

Something is beginning to emerge in the distance. The light changes, the sky grows heavier, and a darker presence slowly takes shape. The storm has not arrived yet, but we can feel its approach through these pics.

I am interested in this tension between what is visible and what is about to happen. In the beauty of a landscape precisely at the moment before it changes, it's this special moment that interests me. by @mytharais
