💌 Nina’s words have stayed with me for much longer than I expected:

“But what if those things are not interruptions to life, but the very conditions that give it texture and depth in the first place? A difficult conversation is often what deepens intimacy. A long walk without headphones is when memory or clarity unexpectedly surfaces. Writing something yourself, rather than outsourcing the task to AI, forces you into confrontation with your own thinking. Friction is not necessarily the opposite of progress. More often than not, it is the thing that makes depth, creativity and selfhood possible at all.”

of all the articles I’ve read recently, I keep coming back to the one on @itsnicethat about our obsession with seamlessness. somehow, despite everything being designed to ‘work better,’ life only feels more complicated. It seems like everything now needs an app or an AI chatbot just to function 🤨 maybe in trying to remove every bit of friction, we’ve also removed spaces where reflection, creativity, and genuine connection happen ⭐️
