This project had been an absolute dream one to work on - relaunching the classic 1990s SKELETON WARRIORS toy line!I remember walking into a toy store back in 1994 and seeing this crazy, multi-armed skeleton toys on the pegs - a character named Aracula from a toy line called Skeleton Warriors. This was fairly early in my journey as a toy collector, and I immediately grabbed that figure and eventually the rest of the Skeleton Warriors line. While incredibly cool and way ahead of their time, the Skeleton Warriors toy line was cancelled after only 1 wave, following the cancellation of the cartoon series. A second wave of amazing figures had been shown as well as a massive Bone Dragon. Those figures became legendary unreleased toys, seemingly never meant to see the light of day - until now.Four Horsemen Studios has partnered with Capow LLC and Lay/Caragey Entertainment LLC to reboot this toy line! We revealed this surprise at SDCC this week and the reception has been overwhelmingly insane. We are so happy for the reaction the first 3 figures in this series have gotten - including our version of Aracula, a figure I absolutely pushed to get into wave 1!This is just the start. As long as these have the support, and judging from the reaction at SDCC and online it certainly seems they will, we plan to go DEEP into this line and release new versions of classic characters, unreleased designs, and more - possibly even that Bone Dragon! This has been amazing to be a part of, and I can’t wait to show you more soon!Preorder begins at StoreHorsemen.com on 8/7/26. I am so incredibly happy that this book is now landing in Legionnaires’ hands! This has been a journey indeed! Every single page of this book, which chronicles the first decade of releases for the Mythic Legions line, was laid out by hand by me. I absolutely know now that there are much more efficient ways to do book layout, but in this world of AI-generated tools and shortcuts, there is something immensely satisfying to know that every page in this book was assembled manually. Every line break was deliberate, every image placed there purposely. That’s pretty darn cool if you ask me, even if there ARE much faster ways to do it!I am also incredibly honored and humbled to have not only laid out all this book’s pages, but to also have written the forward for this volume (as well as all the figure text and other content). Seeing the Mythic Legions line laid out in these 360ish pages really shows what a special toy line and fan community we have, and I expect Legionnaires are going to love digging into these pages. If you preordered the “Mythic Legions: The First 10 Years” book from StoreHorsemen, they are shipping now! Retailer street date has yet to be set, but it will follow soon. If you missed out on this book’s preorder, sole retailers may still have limited copies available, and we will also have some copies at LegionsCon for sale in the 4H room. Heck, if there is genuine demand, we would even consider a second print run! If you’ve gotten your First 10 Years book in hand, what do you think? Let me know in the comments!#mythiclegions #mythiclegionsthefirst10years #mythiclegionsbook #fourhorsemenstudios by @mythiccustoms

Every once in a while you get to add a perfect figure to the collection. This is absolutely a 10 out of 10 release - the new 1:6-scale Donatello from @mondonews First off, there is no way I should love this as much as I do. I don’t collect 1:6, so I had initially planned to skip these figures. I’m also not a huge TMNT fan. I definitely have some in my collection (which you can see behind Don), but my favorite turtles are the original comic turtles with their red bandanas. I was not a big fan of the cartoon, and even less so of the live-action movies. For all those reasons this release should NOT be for me, but then I spent some time with @attackpeter and @what__the_hecktor at SDCC last year and they geeked out about this turtles project they were doing at Mondo. Their enthusiasm was infectious, and I knew I had to support these figures. My collection these days is made up of Legions figures, vintage items I have nostalgia for, and projects that my friends have worked on. Donatello falls into that last category, and while I knew it would be cool, I really did get it based on Peter’s and Hector’s enthusiasm. Needless to say, I am SO happy I did.Donatello arrived this week. Opening it up, I was blown away. This is the best Turtles figure even made. Full stop. The details are incredible (especially his wrist calculator and fanny-pack). So many options for display and a crazy cool pair of reprogrammed mousers. So dang good.I did also buy the timed Leonardo they had up awhile back and now I cannot wait for it to arrive, nor can I wait for the other 2 brothers.Well done Mondo. No notes - this thing is a triumph.#mondo #teenagemutantninjaturtles #donatello #tmnt #mondotmnt by @mythiccustoms

Super simple parts swap on some a new Mythic Legions: Ashes of Agbendor figure. As if the Blue Shield Soldier was not already completely loaded with parts, I decided to add the soft goods “skirt” from the Shadow Centaur. The colors are not exact, but they are close enough that they work with the tunic/loin combo pretty nicely. They also add a bit of extra thickness in that waist joint which tightens that a bit (since it was made to allow for the use of the soft goods that come with the figure in the first place). I actually prefer the centaur without the skirt, and I love how that piece looks on this knight configuration, so it’s a win-win!The Ashes of Agbendor wave is in hand now and it is a super fun wave! My gut tells me those who dismissed this wave as “just repaints” are going to kick themselves for passing on some of these!#mythiclegions #blueshieldsoldier #fourhorsemenstudios #ashesofagbendor by @mythiccustoms

Some more “Crossroads” and “Necropolis” swaps, this time using the Nymph/Churel from the Crossroads set and the new Ghost Elves pack from LegionsCon 2026.Pic 1 adds the Nymph’s head, arms, and wings to the Ghost Elf base figurePic 2 and 3 swap on the repainted Queen Urkzaa and Zeeri heads (which were LegionsCon 2025 exclusive parts)Pic 4 uses the Pale Huntress head from the Ghost Elves, but adds the bare arms from the Crossroads setPic 5 adds the exclusive Lucretia repainted head (which is part of this year’s show-edition Ghost Elves) to the Nymph to create a look partially inspired by a custom that @emil.wickman did last yearPic 6 uses the Pale Huntress head on the Nymph body along with the soft goods on that setPics 7 and 8 uses the Zeeri head and the Churel head on the Pale Huntress build.Once again, these are simple parts swaps, but they certainly showcase some possibilities by mixing and matching these figure sets! The standard version of the Nymph/Churel is in stock and available now at StoreHorsemen.com. Last time I checked there were only a few hundred remaining, and once those are gone they are gone, so if you need some extras for swapping with the Ghost Elves, be sure to grab those soon!#legionscon #legionscon2026 #ghostelves #thenecropolusatduskvale #mythiclegions by @mythiccustoms

The Warrior/Revenant figure from the “Tale of the Crossroads” set is arguably the most popular LegionsCon figure we’ve done to date. The show-edition sold out early on Day 2 of last year’s LegionsCon and the standard version went even faster at StoreHorsemen earlier this year. When we decided to make this year’s “Necropolis at Duskvale” set both visually and thematically tied to the Crossroads, we knew it was a chance to give Legionnaires another option for that grungy, world-worn fighter look that so many loved with the Warrior/Revenant. The inclusion of the knight head seen here was done for exactly that reason! Here are a few simple head and accessory swaps between this new Draugerherdd figure (available at this year’s LegionsCon) and last year’s figure.Pics 1 and 2 are the knight build for the Draugerherdd, but with the pauldrons, sword, and shield from the Warrior.Pic 3 swaps in the visor from the Revenant and Pic 4 uses the skull face plate from that figure. If you do not have an extra Revenany skull plate, the ones from Sir Adalric and the Unwavering Soldier also work here. Finally, Pic 5 swaps on the helmet from the Warrior. These are super simply swaps, but you can see that this new build allows for that aforementioned world-worn knight style figure while also great expanding the swap options for those who do have extra Crossroads parts available.Tickets for LegionsCon are available now at LegionsCon.com.#legionscon #legionscon2026 #thenecropolisatduskvale #draugerherdd #fourhorsemenstudios by @mythiccustoms

The “Gorgo Aetherblade” helmet has been included in a LegionsCon set every year since the first LC figure was sold back at the 2021 show (Sir Girard). Finding a way to sneak this head, which is my personal favorite in the line, in every year has become a fun IFKYK part of LegionsCon exclusive sets. The challenge, of course, becomes finding a logical place to add it and also figuring out a new way to present a head we’ve used quite a few times already! These photos show this year’s version, which is included with the Draugerherdd figure from the Necropolis at Duskvale set. It may just be my favorite deco on this head to date. This helmet is actually the second version of the Gorgo helm, and it includes the extra sculptural details that Eric added for that updated figure. Because this year’s Necropolis set is paint-matched to last year’s “Crossroads” figures, which of course also included a Gorgo helm, I knew we had to add some kind of extra detail to this year’s version to differentiate it. Looking at those sculptural details, I realized we have never really called them out with paint, specifically the “cheeks” and “eyebrows” of the helm which have some distinct shapes to them. The white paint was chosen for the same reason the white fur was used on the Minotaur parts from this same set - to provide contrast to the dark and dingy armor pieces. I love the way the final version came out and I think it really does add a new look to a head I am sure many of us have in our fodder bins and on display on various figures! This helmet is actually one of the “show exclusive” pieces for the Draugerherdd set. Also of note in these pics - the shoulder pauldrons used here are from the Crossroads Warrior/Revenant, showing how you can mix and match those pieces with this year’s release for a nearly limitless set of display options! If you want to grab the Necropolis at Duskvale figures, your first chance to do so will be at LegionsCon 2026 in Whippany, NJ on Nov 7-8. See LegionsCon.com for full show details and to purchase tickets! Let’s look at some of the new figures from the Mythic Legions: The Necropolis at Duskvale set that is debuting at Legions 2026 this November. We will start with the Draugerherdd set and specifically the “Adharachh” Minotaur build. This build was actually inspired by a custom “undead minotaur” I made many years ago. That custom has the same white fur and black face paint, so it is incredibly cool for me to have this now become an official figure and character in Mythic Legions! The build and stance shown here is how I will display this in my collection. The extended ankles (first seen on Jersey Devil) allow you to create a digitigrade-style stance for the figure which I really dig (and which you can see here in these pics). The Draugerherdd set comes with a bunch of weapons, but this wicked axe and the 3-chain flail are my favorites and they are what the Adharachh will wield! The figure itself is painted to match last year’s “Tale of the Crossroads” set. That grungy, worn look works so well for me, and using it here will allow the Necropolis figures to be swappable with the Crossroads - and since this set include parts to make other characters (including regular feet if you don’t want a Minotaur), there are a crazy number of display options in this box. Stay tuned over the coming days and I’ll show some more of my simple swaps and display ideas for this new set!If you want to grab the Necropolis at Duskvale figures, your first chance to do so will be at LegionsCon 2026 in Whippany, NJ on Nov 7-8. See LegionsCon.com for full show details and to purchase tickets! I hope to see you there!#legionscon #mythiclegions #thedraugerherdd #thenecropolisatduskvale #fourhorsemenstudios by @mythiccustoms

Last chance! The preorder for Mythic Legions: Reinforcements 3 ends tonight (Sunday, 6/28) at 11pm EDT. As always, this wave’s run size is determined based on preorders received. While we do make a small number of “extras” beyond the preorder quantities to have at future shows, that stock is never guaranteed, and if recent history is any indication, that stock will go FAST once it is in hand. The only way to guarantee you can get these figures is to preorder, either direct or via one of our retailers. If you do order direct at StoreHorsemen, you get some additional savings. The figures are at least 15% off normal prices during the direct preorder, and the All In set is 25% off of normal retail. Sale ends this evening. Get to StoreHorsemen.com to secure yours now!#mythiclegions #mythiclegionsreinforcements3 #mythiclegionslegionbuilders #fourhorsemenstudios by @mythiccustoms

A very special haul from the PAC Northwest Mythic Meetup last weekend! While this show was more about community building than toy shopping for me, I did walk away with some very awesome items! From @noblebearcustoms I grabbed one of his new Silly Yeti sofubi figures! I am so proud of what Anthony has accomplished with his dream of making toys that I knew I had to add one to my collection. Needless to say, it is absolutely awesome and I can’t wait to see what else he does with Silly Yeti Studios @sillyyetistudios From @vonburkestudios I was given a surprise gift - one of his Grim Gears walkers with my Mythic Customs logo!
