Did you know that three weeks ago on September 20th THIS MAN, my amazing husband, turned 50!?! What a whirlwind of a weekend it was. Instead of sitting back and taking it easy or going out to dinner or spending the day in his lazy chair or on the golf course, he volunteered his entire weekend to supporting the kids, teams, friends, and colleagues at a local robotics competition. In return he was named Volunteer of the Year, a well deserved and well earned title, especially this year. I have been remiss in highlighting this moment and this man, but I’m here to rectify that. So if you haven’t already hopped over to his page to wish him a Happy Half Century please do so today. It’s never too late. And be on the lookout for upcoming #seniorsunday moments as I spam your feed with what I think is his awesomeness.
