Even though i wrote this pre-George Floyd, it felt right to release this today for the 4 year reflection on that terrible moment in human history. Because even 4 years later and 9 years from the inception of this poem THE TOPIC REMAINS RELEVANT! And it really shouldn’t be. I lost a homie not to bad policing but to gun violence. Senseless deaths to individuals who should not have to be sacrificed in order for change to occur, RIP Ha RIP Trayvon Martin RIP Philando Castillo s/o to artists who inspire change and have inspired me @realcoleworld @erykahbadu @kendricklamar @michaeljackson @liltunechi #poetry #spokenword #stoptheviolence #neverforget #ccapg s/o @mr.brianstephens 🎥 @daedaecca for MIXHER Thursdays. Catch the next one June 20th! by @mywillbedone13

@ericbellinger… late entry but made it before Midnight. Thank you God for this opportunity. This was the most amazing challenge. Tested myself and passed with amazing colors. Written by me, recorded by me, Mixed by me(1st time was learning on the spot, s/o garage band and YouTube lol)

I already won because i unlocked the artists inside me slowly coming out all these years. And this is only the beginning. S/o @mr.brianstephens for the visuals. 🔥🔥 as always Cuzzo 🙏🏾 #blessed @capcutapp #openversechallenge #obsession #obsessionopenversechallenge #ericbellinger #artist #music #producer #videography #writer #pengamenice #thankyou #onlythebeginning #hiphop #randb #explorepage #explore #rva #804 by @mywillbedone13
