If you’re looking for your first electric grinder to get into espresso and are on a tight budget the Wirsh Geimori GU38 is a good option. It is consistent, produces nice body and chocolatey notes for traditional espresso, and does okay for pour over.

Workflow is like any other single doser. Accessing and cleaning the burrs is a breeze, and the adjustment dial is stepless and super smooth.

However, at this budget price point expect some drawbacks, like static, a little more retention than advertised unless always using RDT and bellows, and slow grinding speed. If you’re not sure if you’ll stick to espresso, for the price, it’s a good buy as it won’t hurt your wallet too much. It’s an affordable option if you’re looking for your first electric grinder to get your feet wet in the world of espresso.

Thank you @mywirsh for sending me the GU38 to test and review.
