20 years ago we got together and everyone said we wouldn't last. We struggled, hard. We stayed in a place in our lives that was meant to be a lesson but became a blessing. Some of you know our story and how far we've come. It sure as hell wasn't easy. We overcame, failed and got back up again. We still have our ups n downs but We keep GOD in the center of our relationship. Even though we've been married for 7 years and have 5 kids, I will ALWAYS celebrate each year we been together because WE WENT THROUGH SOME SHIT.. but everyday of each year, I love him and it just be like that ☺️😏 I love us.

There are some stories that forever change your life.

For us, that story is Nikha. 💜

Many of you walked beside us through one of the most difficult seasons our family has ever faced. You prayed with us, encouraged us, and stood beside us as we fought for justice.

Recently, we received a homicide conviction.

While justice matters, it doesn’t erase the loss. It doesn’t bring Nikha home.

Her story is one of the many reasons our fight against domestic violence remains stronger than ever.

JABEL exists because we know the pain survivors carry. We know the fear, the stigma, the barriers, and the silence that so many face. We also know healing is possible when survivors are believed, supported, and empowered.

Domestic violence rarely begins with homicide. It often begins with control, isolation, manipulation, and fear.

That’s why we fight every day—not just to respond after tragedy, but to help prevent it.

We believe survivors deserve more than survival.

They deserve healing.
They deserve hope.
They deserve the opportunity to thrive.

We share Nikha’s story because her life mattered. We share it because someone reading this may need to know they are not alone. And if her legacy helps even one person find the courage to ask for help, then her light continues to shine.

Together, we will continue standing with survivors.
Together, we will continue fighting.
Together, we will continue working toward a future free from exploitation and violence.

Together, we will end the lies and empower lives. 💜

Even though I'm no longer their instructor, moments like this remind me that teaching never really ends.

There is something so damn special about having your students reach out, show up by surprise, share their graduation certificates, and let me know they're officially beginning the next chapter of their careers. Watching them grow from nervous students into confident dental professionals has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.

To my students and the ones who kept in touch, having me part of your journey means more than you'll ever know.

Congratulations to all of you on this amazing accomplishment. I'm so proud of everything you've achieved, and I can't wait to see where your careers take you. Keep learning, keep growing, and never forget why you started and know I got y'all forever!!!

Happy 9 years of marriage. I love you and this life we've built. Literally started from nothin now into this; a house, 5 kids, plus our Destiny, 3 dogs and a business. We prayed so hard to be where we're at now with so many things to be grateful for. Crazy where God can take you. 🙏🏽 Love you fa life. Even when you're hella sensitive & annoying. 🤭😜

To my spicy 7 year old Gemini, I love you more than words can say. You're full of life, spunkiness, sass and I DO NOT KNOW where you got it from 🫣😛 I'm so proud to be your mommie.
