Just sharing my notes from yesterday’s sermon… whew! 📝🔥 “You Have to Leave Where You Left.” It’s time to get UNSTUCK—for real! Sometimes it’s not the circle. It’s not the environment. It’s not an attack from the enemy. Sometimes it’s an INSIDE JOB… it’s the “INNER-ME.” • Old wounds can disrupt a new season. • Avoiding accountability conversations can keep us stuck. • Rejecting people who challenge us to grow can reveal how comfortable we’ve become blaming our past for our present. We say we want to move forward, but are we willing to release what keeps pulling us back? This word made me check ME. We must take responsibility for the choices WE made. We can’t keep rehearsing, “What did they do?” without also asking, “What did I do—and what do I need to change?” What happened to us matters. But healing requires us to examine what’s happening IN us, too. How long will we let our PAST control our PRESENT? It’s time to EVICT the bitterness, blame, fear, and old mindsets taking up space in our minds—and PRESS ON! 🙌🏾 In this season. Lord, show me ME—and help me grow! Be Better, Not Bitter. —Evang. Thirty years ago today, I went into the hospital to have my labor induced because my “Lazy Libra” baby Jeremiah Woods wasn’t quite ready to make his entrance! 😂 One week overdue, but right on time for all the love I had waiting for him. 💙 Son, I’m so blessed that God chose me to be your mother. I love everything about you—your swag, your smile, your intelligence, the Love and relationship you have with God and definitely the man you’ve become. You are THAT GUY, and I love that for you! 🙌🏾 Watching you grow has been one of the greatest joys of my life. As you enter this new decade, I pray God continues to order your steps, protect your heart, and open doors that lead you deeper into your purpose. Happy 30th Birthday, Son! It’s been 13 Years since I held my daddy’s hand. I miss him soooooooo much!! Thank God for the memories, and the seeds he planted in me. I’m well versed on most things under the hood of a car because he taught me so I wouldn’t be taken advantage of. I loved following him around his auto shop. He was the BEST mechanic on the Southside of Chicago👨🏾‍🔧 I pray that I’ve made him proud. 🫶🏾 Always his #babygirl by @mzdari

Mid-Week Encouragement 😇 On Saturday, Hearing my Pastor,Bishop Marvin Sapp say, “Pastor Designate Dari,” made my spirit leap—and of course, I went into a PRAISE! Not out of arrogance, but in complete AWE of how GOD can change everything you thought about yourself in the twinkling of an eye. One thing about Bishop, Dr. Sapp, and the Vessel they know: if anybody has the right to remain silent, it’s NOT me! 😂 I’m grateful they accept me and my loud mouth. I try to hold it, but I can’t…because when I THINK, I THANK! 🙌🏾 As I prepare for my first strategic planning meeting, I keep thinking about the years God spent preparing ME. The waiting, lessons, correction, and pruning…He was working while I was worrying him about unnecessary beyond foolish stuff 🤦🏾‍♀️. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you…to give you an expected end.” — Jeremiah 29:11 🤍 Our prayer-call reminder still speaks: “Behold, I will do a new thing.” — Isaiah 43:19 Break up with your negative thinking about yourself. Walking into territory God has ordered for your life is sometimes strange. First Lady shared it’s appropriate to Celebrate the moments and not “shrink”. However, always stay focused on the journey and stay at the feet of Jesus. Keep praying, preparing, and learning and know the warefare will be great also! What feels sudden has been years of pruning, can I be honest the cuts HURT ME, but it HELPED ME! Years of cuts 😭 hits attacks…all with God’s preparation behind it. 🤷🏾‍♀️ What new space are you trusting God to help you navigate? Be encouraged even in the tough messy painful places. Prayer Recap: It was a break up call Pastor Dwalunda Alexander took the baton from Sunday’s walk and walked right into 6:00 a.m. prayer with Authority 🙏🏾 to break up some more stuff. At this point Imma be like my Sister Kisha-Mazing Morgan and keep my gym shoes in my Bible bag. Ion know what might happen at The Vessel Scripture: Isaiah 43:19 “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. Pastor D asked that God break every old cycle, habit, and way of thinking that keeps us small! NO MORE SHRINKING 😳 Lord, take us beyond old patterns. Uproot negativity and stagnation. Interrupt anything that opposes Your purpose. Remove the labels of fear and doubt. Show me ME! Help us see in us what You see and say what You say. We declare that our season of limitations, stagnation, shrinking, and hesitation has ENDED.
