So happy we got to experience the draft here in Pittsburgh. I’ve been going to the combine the past couple years to see those young men compete. It was nice to see them get selected firsthand. My girls didn’t care for it but they had fun. I will say it is super kid friendly as well. by @mzrose412

Long post yall

Aniyah lost 4 matches in a row before making it to TOC.

Did that hurt? Yes
Did she quit? No
Did she work harder? Hell yeah

WHY YOU HAVE TO LOSE.

Wrestling will take you to emotional places most people will never understand.

Some nights your hand is raised and everything feels worth it. The early mornings, the hard practices, the sacrifices — they finally make sense. For a moment you feel unstoppable.

Other nights it falls apart.

One mistake, one scramble, six minutes that don’t go your way. You walk off the mat with your thoughts screaming and your heart heavy, wondering why it has to hurt this bad.

Here’s the truth.

Winning is sweet because losing exists.

If you never felt defeat, victory wouldn’t reach as deep. The highs are powerful because you’ve lived the lows. The celebration matters because you know what it feels like to go without it.

So you learn to take both.

You come back.
You practice again.
You lace the shoes up again.

Not because you always feel ready — but because growth doesn’t wait for your feelings.

That’s wrestling.
That’s life.

Stay humble when you win. Stay steady when you lose. Keep pushing either way.

One day the hand that gets raised will belong to the person who refused to quit when quitting made perfect sense.

She came back, wrestled hard and landed second place as a novice wrestler.

Mind you, she started late in the season as well. I’m super proud of my girl no matter the outcome at states. by @mzrose412
