all done, all for her #biochemist

losing my mom last may sent my mind into a spiral. everything that we had planned for my future went out the window, i wasn’t sure if i’d come back for my final year. but the people and community surrounding me in boulder and alaska reminded me that this is what she wanted. she wanted me to earn my degree, walk the stage, and become the person she always knew i was. although she would’ve hated me saying i did it for her, i can’t help but see her in every aspect of myself and know she was my biggest supporter. i am forever grateful for the people around me who make life worth living every day! if i’ve learned one thing, it’s that life keeps moving forward. you can either move with it, or dwell in the memories that keep you stagnant, but no life is fruitful without embracing every moment.
