As ive had time to gather myself together and reflect on my performance from Tuesday I took the time to notice my flaws and listen to my coaches on what I need to fix and improve. Even though I didn’t lose I hold myself to a higher standard because I work my ass off to be at my best. My first 6 round fight and I went to war like I said I would. A draw to me is nothing better than a loss. That’s how I am treating it, I went against another undefeated fighter and tested my limits. you haven’t seen the best of me yet. And I thank everyone for constant support in my career thank you to all my coaches who push me every single day and never let me keep my head down. I’m blessed to be around the best of the best coaches. I thank God for blessing me so much in the past year. The best is yet to come.

Look me in the eyes It’s okay if your scared. So am I, but we’re scared for different reasons. I’m scared of what I won’t become, and you’re scared of what I could become. Look at me, I won’t let myself end where I started and I won’t let myself finish where I began, I know what is within me even if you can’t see it yet,look me in the eyes. I have something more important than courage, I have patience. I will become what I know I am. Even if it takes years. I’ve lost more than 20 fights in my amateur career, I’ve been humiliated in sparring countless times. 8 times ive been trusted to win golden glove & national championships & failed. Maybe it’s my fault that you didn’t see that failure gave me strength, and that my pain was my motivation, maybe I led you to believe that boxing is a God given gift and not something i worked hard for every. Single. Day. Of. My. Life. Ive lost to depression, I’ve lost to mental health, I’ve lost to confidence issues. I’ve failed Over and over and over again in life…and that is why I’ll succeed.

The love and support I received last night was unbelievable. My opponent pulled out last minute but Although I didn’t get to lace up my gloves and show my hard work in the ring we still felt the amazing support and love from my people.
