I finished this last-minute project, inspired by my daughter’s Jawa costume. I wanted to create something to go along with it—a cheerful companion. I followed my instincts and let creativity run free; it’s well beyond the beta version I had originally planned. New Costume approved in 501st, what can I say…I started this project two years ago, following my imaginary little voice that had been asking me for a long time. I had very long creative breaks and often felt like giving up everything. I learned to do new things, I designed, drew, printed many things, failing just as many. Designing the tubes took months of my free time, the same for the blaster or other details and objects that perhaps will not even be noticed.
