With Jay-Z’s concerts at Yankee Stadium and the controversy around his freestyle about Target and Kaepernick on stage, plus Fanatics Fest / 40/40 Club Pop-Up I decided to share a concept I created a while back for a new Jay-Z album I titled “CARTE BLANCHE” - I couldn’t quite get to the right gatekeepers.

Themes of responsible wealth, liberation, politics, and Black exceptionalism were apart of the tapestry that I would present as a creative director.

This was just a small piece of the work. I may release more ideas I’ve kept in archive.
