Pictures from our canoe trip in Algonquin Park last week! We had beautiful weather for all of the days we were camping (besides the last 😆), horse flies, deer flies, black flies were all minimal, mosquitos were plentiful at night but manageable. Mike, Nick, and Nico are all great paddlers and portage-ers. We made about ~40 km in our 3-night canoe trip in northwest Algonquin. Stunning views and very few other campers on the lake. Being in the backcountry really lets you relax, I had a wonderful time on the trip and would love to do it again! by @n8tebb

Yesterday was the most Canadian day I’ve had.We woke up in Algonquin park, finishing up our canoe trip through the beautiful Ontario wilderness. Then, we popped in to a hospital in a town of 1900 people to get 7 stitches for my finger I sliced/ripped while tying the canoes to the roof of the car. It was about 2 hours from triage to a fully cleaned, stitched, and dressed wound, and of course I walked out without paying a dime by using a PHOTO of my EXPIRED health card 😅. The gang had timmies while they waited, and we all went out for poutine lunch after that. We drove down the trans can highway to the notoriously sketchy highway 11, of course stopping at the dangerously-off-the-highway Webers Burgers.Finally we made it to Toronto, passing Canadas wonderland. Upon seeing the Behemoth and Leviathan from the highway, we made a last-minute change of plans to get on as many roller coasters for the last 2 operating hours of the day. We got on 7 major rides!Then we drove back home down the 401 till 2 in the morning. What a perfect Ontarian vacation. by @n8tebb

AAAAAAA GUYS LOOK AT @jurb_v1 AND I!! Iconic.The way the Mk 7 and Mk 5b go together is just 👌👌. BTW guys, that’s Jurb’s first every suit of armour, and its hand crafted out of EVA foam!
