I don’t even know where to begin. I’m still trying to find the words to say goodbye, but my heart tells me that goodbye isn’t quite right, more like a see you later. Yesterday someone lost a son, a father, and for most a best friend. Ever since I met you you’ve done nothing but push me to better myself just like you did for everyone else you were around. The thing I loved about you the most was that special charm you had that always made people light up when you came around. There was never a boring night if heath gilley was apart of it . Anytime I needed help with a project you were there. Anytime I needed an ear to vent to you were there. Anytime I needed a shoulder to cry on you were there. I strive to be half the father you’ve become. It’s been such blessing getting to watch your son grow and do everything our fathers did with us. He’s going to grow into the men we are today and I just wish you were here to see it. I know he’d make you so proud. In the mean time please save some room for me on that G25 in the sky.
