Not the outcome we wanted, but what a historic season for our Fightin’ Texas Aggies. 🤍Not only was it Reese’s very first Aggie football game, but also the first time the Aggies made the playoffs. This was truly a season and experience we’ll never forget! Gig ’em, forever. 🫶🏼(And shoutout to my Dad for buying the tickets..he might be a die hard longhorn fan but his money keeps going to the Ags 😂) by @n_ram33

✨ YEAR FIFTEEN✨Year 15, wow. Saying that out loud seems unreal. What an accomplishment and something to be celebrated! 🥹When Nick was drafted back in 2011, I don’t think anyone could have imagined the journey he would have ahead. The teams, the moves, the position changes, the highs and lows. Baseball has given us some of our greatest blessings, but it’s also asked for sacrifice and resilience.To put this in perspective: about 7% of high school baseball players will go on to play college ball. Only 2% will play at the D1 level. Of those college baseball players, only 1% will make it to the big leagues, with about 10% being drafted. After beating those odds, the average pro ball career will last just 5 years, which includes the minor leagues. Nick not only reached the big leagues with 4 incredible teams, but he’s still out here competing 15 seasons later. That kind of longevity doesn’t just happen. It takes work, mental strength, grit, faith, and a TRUE love of the game.I’ve had a front row seat to it all, and I couldn’t be more proud. Rare is the word that keeps coming to mind when I look back on the last 15 years. Rare to make it this far, rare to keep going, rare to do it with humility, and rare to be a man like Nick. Most people just see the numbers, but I see the heart. I am so proud of you babe and congratulations on your 15th season! Fun fact: the last time Nick and I were at this stadium together, we didn’t even know it. I was a Diamond Darling and he was playing for Cal State Fullerton, both 19, sitting in the same visiting dugout, completely unaware the other existed.7 years after that we would meet and start dating. And almost 16 years later, we’re back at that same stadium with two babies and a whole lot of memories. And isn’t it just so pretty to think all along there was some invisible string tying you to me. 🫶🏼Shoutout to @lillisearley for getting Reese to finally love A&M too 🤣 He said Reveille is his new favorite but he’s renamed her “Rex” lol by @n_ram33
