The Collapse is a sculpture that gets the most interest at markets and missed when we don’t show her.

A story of transformation and resilience.

Please enjoy a little glimpse into how The Collapse was made and some satisfying crunching audio in the last slide. by @naasook_

Hens are a symbol of fertility, prosperity and good fortune in many cultures, often referenced in myths, folklore and religion. This immortal spring chicken is hand built from a mixed bag of recycled clay, with a hint of lava fleck speckle and brush glazed.

Last one is a raw chicken.

A deeply inspiring weekend at @bildwerkfrauenau in the heart of the Bavarian Forest.

I experimented with red clay (it is yellow pre-firing), layering textures through trial and error and even tried throwing on the old industrial throwing wheels.

Learning about the town’s glassmaking history, as well as the visiting artists that shaped it, was a true highlight

Immensely grateful to Judith for inviting Carla and me as guests during her residency and for facilitating such a generous creative exchange 💙 taken in Frauenau by @naasook_
