When I started this challenge in January with the Game Changer series, I wasn’t sure where it would take me. A few months later, my shelves have grown, my TBR has somehow doubled, and I’ve spent countless nights telling myself “just one more chapter.”
This year has been filled with creepy horror, twisty thrillers, and unforgettable MM romances. From stories that kept me checking over my shoulder to characters I couldn’t stop rooting for, every book has left its own mark. Not every read has been a favorite, but each one has reminded me why I love this hobby so much. I’m excited to see what the rest of the year has in store and to keep chasing five-star reads, shocking plot twists, and romances that stay with me long after I turn the last page.
.
.
For my fellow readers, what has been your favorite horror, thriller, or MM romance of the year? I’m always looking for my next great read.

Some days healing looks big and inspiring. Other days it looks like taking your meds, getting out of bed, answering one text, making it through work, or simply choosing to stay. This is part of my story too. There’s no shame in needing support, medication, therapy, rest, boundaries, or help. Mental health deserves the same care and compassion as physical health.
To anyone struggling silently: you are not alone, and you do not have to fight your battles in secret.

A year of stories, challenges, breakthroughs, and laughs. Proud of the teacher I was then, and the one I’m becoming now.

Yeehaw and hell yeah—this Independence Day, we’re reclaiming freedom with rhinestones, resistance, and a whole lotta queer joy.
.
⁣.
Out here, we don’t just celebrate liberty—we live it. Loud boots, soft hearts, and chosen family.
⁣.
.
Let the fireworks fly for every outlaw who ever loved outside the lines.

.
This ain’t your granddaddy’s America. It’s gayer, louder, and way more fabulous.
