I’m in love with this personal curriculum trend. In the past, I’ve taught myself calligraphy, hand lettering, Notion, podcasting, and punch-needle all without taking formal classes. But I love the idea of having a more structured way to plan my learning.

You should try it too. Create your own personal curriculum!

Just get started. There are plenty of inspirational videos online with people sharing their personal curriculum. If you want to check out my Skillshare class, visit the link in my bio or go directly to NacheSnow.com/skillshare.

What skill or topic do you want to learn?

So, who’s going to do the vision board bingo with me for 2025?! The exercise of intentionally coming up with the initial goals is clarifying, and I think gamifying it with bingo will give me the extra kick I need.

I made a cozy little sweater for my journal because that’s just what I do! I saw a video recently of someone with one and I’m like, let me just go ahead and make one. So I did. For my fellow crafters, I added a tutorial on YouTube. Comment “COZY” or click my YouTube link in my bio.

Your phone can tell you what’s happening Thursday. It can’t tell you what kind of year you’re having.

That’s the case for a year on one page. Not more tracking. Better range.

Mark what’s already decided first. Travel, birthdays, the deadline that isn’t moving, the weeks you’re out for work/school. One pass, no system yet. Then look at what’s left and read it as capacity, not free time. That’s when you see the launch sitting two weeks behind the trip, or three big things landing inside the same ten days, or February wide open while October is on fire.

Then hang it where you make decisions, not where you store paper. So the next time someone asks if you can take something on in November, you look up and you already know.

The Planning Calendar runs September 2026 through August 2027. Printed on newsprint, made to be written on.

A life update and a museum run at the National Museum of Women in the Arts, @womeninthearts.

I’ve been busy, even while adjusting to a life that no longer runs on a 9-to-5. A lot of networking. A lot of thinking about positioning for my next career move. This next chapter is exciting and terrifying at the same time.

And with The Planning Calendar, my brainchild, there has been a lot of design and administrative work. Not just designing the product but standing up the infrastructure behind it. The website, the marketing, the packaging, all the things.

Preorder The Planning Calendar by August 14.

Three @masterclass picks from my watch list this year. Mark Cuban for the no-nonsense business truth, Martha Stewart because I will defend her to the death and yes I’ve seen every documentary, and Mellody Hobson, whose strategic decision-making class basically put a name and a framework to the leadership style I already had.

Drop a comment if you’ve taken any of these or have recommendations.

What's one tip you would share with someone?

Tip 1: Bring your ChatGPT history with you
Don’t start from scratch. Claude has a built-in import tool at claude.ai/import. You copy one prompt, paste it into ChatGPT, and Claude absorbs everything it already knows about you. Your tone preferences, your projects, your working style. Done in like two minutes.

Tip 2: Stop typing your prompts
If you’re on a computer, get Wispr Flow. It’s a voice dictation app that lets you talk out long, detailed prompts instead of typing them. It is a game changer when you’re trying to actually build something and you need to get a lot of context in fast. (Try it: https://wisprflow.ai/r/NACHE3)

Tip 3: Use Projects to keep Claude focused
Claude has a feature called Projects where you can give it a specific system prompt, upload files, and keep a whole workstream separate. So your client stuff doesn’t bleed into your personal stuff. Think of it as giving Claude a different job for each context.

Tip 4: Talk to it like a collaborator, not a search engine
The more context you give, the better the output. Don’t ask “write me a caption.” Say “I’m a creative strategist, my audience is women who run their own thing, and I need a caption for a reel about AI tools that feels real, not techy.” The difference in what you get back is night and day.

Tip 5: If you’re still on ChatGPT, use folders.
ChatGPT doesn’t have Projects like Claude does, but it does have folders, which is actually really nice. You can store your different chats in folders so you don’t have a million conversations just hanging out on the side. It’s a simple way to keep everything organized. You can also add a prompt in the instructions for that folder, along with adding sources.

So I want to share one of my AI experiments. This is not using Claude Code or Claude.ai’s artifact feature—it’s using Claude Chat with a Make connector. This was really just a matter of giving it a bunch of instructions until I got it to where I needed it to be.

One thing to mention: it does not automatically generate this briefing every day. I did set up a Claude Project, and within that project, I manually ask it to generate an HTML file each day. The reason it’s not automatic is that I’d have to upgrade from Make’s free plan to make it run on a schedule — and for this experiment, I wanted to keep costs as low as possible. That could change down the road.

There are a few bugs I’m still working out, but I’m pleased with it. One thing I didn’t add — but you could — is pulling in your calendar and reminders app (especially useful if you’re on iPhone) so your to-do list and upcoming events become part of the daily brief too.

Hope this inspires you to try something. Let me know if I should do a full YouTube tutorial. Sharing it because it came out pretty well for an experiment.

This is the last video (check out the first three) in my visual journaling series from the trip I took to Portugal with my mom. I had to come home with a few little mementos, and what made this trip so special is that my mom and I were so focused on the art that we barely shopped at all.

Luckily, on our way back to the airport, the shuttle stopped at some local pottery shops and we scored the most beautiful, truly handmade pieces. The pieces I brought home are from @neliapatalim, and they are absolutely gorgeous and so well made. I will treasure these forever. As an artist and a crafter, I just deeply appreciate everything that goes into handmade work.

There are many pictures I didn't include in this video series, as it’s impossible to capture all the experiences in just a few clips. However, I aimed to convey the essence of the third day. The last two workshops @helen.c.stark organized focused on lettering and still life. At the end of the day, she had us put together a spread of our retreat experience. Additionally, what's not shown here is the restaurant we visited that evening. An old olive oil factory repurposed into a restaurant with a small, impressive art museum inside. It was quite remarkable.
