Unknown pulses (2026)

I am interested in playing with the idea that
something is happening under the exhibition space, extending the room to another dimension, the underneath.I believe each element possesses its own pulse, and they
could be awakened through movement and time. In this case the clay transformed into different shapes resemble organic matter. It could suggest a crime scene, or perhaps that the house itself, through abandonment, is becoming alive. One question thus emerges: what happened there before and what is currently unfolding?

Presented during the Open studio Summer term 2026

Thanks @chenjieyir for modelling 💅 And for some of the photos 📸 by @nachina_

𝐴𝑙𝑙 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑡𝑜𝑢𝑐ℎ, 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑐ℎ𝑎𝑛𝑔𝑒
Collective exhibition during Zones of Resonance Summer Open studios 2026.

Beneath the floorboards, something moves. In the corner,
fragments of furniture refuse to become whole. A canvas slowly leaks into form through the memory held in a body. Sound is pressed into drawing, and a game of chess leaves its impression behind long after the players have gone. A shower diffuses perfume where water once ran, cleansing becomes a kind of haunting.

Ignacia Heredia Contreras (1996) @nachina_ For me creating an artwork is a process of deep engagement with materials, exploring their limits, combining them, and shaping them into objects that evoke stories and presences. I explore the ideas of territory and memory grounded in my experience of growing up in Santiago de Chile. From this perspective I question the notions of frontiers physically and symbolically. Through interactive objects, I invite the audience to enact memories, setting a dialogue that is renewed with each
interaction.
Bayan Moradi (1990) @bayaanmoradi My practice centres on painting and drawing, rooted in expressionism, exploring personal emotions and lived experiences while reflecting on the social and political realities of where I come from, Kurdistan. I translate inner states into visual language through line, color, and gesture. I work in dialogue with histories of violence and collective trauma and more general questions of human suffering and injustice and how these impact memory, loss, and its long-term effects. I ask the audience to study, to doubt, and to contemplate such experiences.
