Nadia Desai Fashion macht Upcycling zum Stilstatement bei der RTR Fashion Show – Edition III: Crossing Identities (SS27) Im Rahmen der von Ralph Timeless kuratierten RTR Fashion Show – Edition III: Crossing Identities (SS27) präsentierte Nadia Desai Fashion eine Kollektion, die Denim auf eindrucksvolle Weise neu interpretierte. Mit einem klaren Fokus auf Upcycling entstand eine moderne Designsprache, die Nachhaltigkeit nicht in den Vordergrund stellte, sondern als selbstverständlichen Bestandteil zeitgenössischer Mode verstand. Denim bildete das Herzstück der Kollektion. Großzügige Schnitte, markante Oversize-Looks und fließende Proportionen verliehen den Entwürfen eine mühelose Lässigkeit. Kleider, ausdrucksstarke Mäntel sowie kurze und lange Hosen zeigten die außergewöhnliche Vielseitigkeit des Materials und machten deutlich, wie wandelbar Jeansstoff in einer modernen Kollektion sein kann. Zwischen urbaner Streetwear und zeitgemäßem Design entwickelte sich eine Kollektion, die Authentizität über Inszenierung stellte. Jedes Outfit wirkte selbstverständlich und zugleich ausdrucksstark. Die kreative Neuinterpretation von Denim verlieh den Looks eine unverwechselbare Identität und unterstrich den nachhaltigen Anspruch der Marke. Mit dem bevorstehenden Launch ihrer eigenen Brand beginnt für Nadia Desai Fashion ein neues Kapitel. THE THINGS WE CARRY BY NADIA DESAI✨ Some stories are carried in the clothes we wear. For RTR Fashion Show – Edition III: Crossing Identities, Nadia Desai presented The Things We Carry — a deeply personal collection exploring grief, identity, memory, and emotional connection. Born from the loss of her father, the collection began with inherited denim and his ties, transforming personal memories and materials into garments that carry new stories. Raised between Saudi Arabia and England and now based in Berlin, Nadia’s multicultural background informs a design practice rooted in craftsmanship, adaptability, and personal storytelling. Working primarily with inherited and reclaimed denim, her pieces explore patchwork, deconstruction and made-to-measure tailoring. Every garment is named after people, places and passions connected to her father’s life, allowing memory to live on through the collection.
