Business funding and grants are kinda my thing😉

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Here’s the thing – I’ll never lie and tell you that running a business is easy, especially a coaching business focused on credit and funding. 😩

Just today, I joked with someone that maybe I should’ve chosen another form of coaching 😩. Not because I think it would be easier, but because…

Truth is, getting the funding isn’t the hard part. The hard part is 👇🏻

👉🏻 Helping people believe they deserve the same funding opportunities as anyone else.
👉🏻 Guiding them through money trauma bonds they didn’t even realize they had.
👉🏻 Breaking down the ever-changing credit landscape in a way that’s simple, even for beginners.
👉🏻 Teaching that credit is a tool for success, not something to fear or avoid.
👉🏻 Unlearning years of misinformation that’s been drilled into them.

I don’t just help my clients get funding – I help them completely reprogram their mindset around money and credit.

And let me tell you, that is NOT easy & can become very overwhelming at times 😩

But as I was looking through my “Girl, You’re Really Her” folder (yes, that’s my folder of countless testimonials 😂), I was reminded of how much I truly love what I do. 🫶🏼

Not only am I helping people achieve their dreams with business funding, but I’m doing it in a way that aligns with my integrity, values, and faith. 💪🏼

Coaches are everywhere these days, and unfortunately, some will just take your money without caring about your true needs. That’s why I INSIST on consultations!

I want to understand your struggles, and let you know if (and how) I can help before we move forward. Even if we don’t work together, you’ll walk away with clarity on the steps you need to take to reach your funding goals.

I’ve got 2 spots left this year to work 1-on-1 with two business owners ready to secure their funding. 💰

A little break from adulting to be a kid again 🤍

Sometimes you just need a night out that feels like a field trip 😂 and anytime I come across a kid friendly activity that has an adults only night I’m going!

Idk a thing about this new music bc my playlist is still stuck in the good ol’ days. 🤭

Back when the music was timeless, minutes were free after 9, and we had on business casual fits in the club. 😂

What’s one song I NEED to add to my “good ol days” playlist?

(and if you don’t have Slow Jukin by @kingsteff7 or Po Pimp by @doordienation on your playlist what are you even doing lol) by @nadirahs_world

I’ve been talking a lot about the Pave HER Way Disruptor Award but let’s talk about the Financial Aid Award for a minute.

This award is NOT just for tuition.

It can also help with training, rent, food, transportation, caregiving, and unexpected hardships.

I’ve been getting questions about this application so I put together a few pointers to help you with your personal statement, budget, and reference request.

⏰Applications close October 16 at 11:59 p.m. PST so get it in before the deadline. You still have plenty of time!

Had a VERY random weekend 🫢

I remember when the tickets first dropped for the R&B tour and people were charging $900….

Found tickets 2 hours before the show on Friday for $40. That’s more like it 🙌🏼

Glad I looked put together bc I went straight from the office

Working 💻

(I’m upgrading the free grant list btw comment “ACCESS” to get on my list and receive the upgraded version when it drops)

To signing my heart out at the concert 🎤 worth every penny lol

decided to partake in some Halloween festivities on Saturday so it’s only right I wear burgundy

I’ve been waiting months to see this movie now I’m banned from picking movies for while 😂

if you saw this movie I’m curious to know your thoughts bc what did I watch 🫢

Clearly still very confused after watching that movie 😩

Love a good Halloween themed bar 🎃 @jethroscocktails

Music, drinks, and food ALWAYS 10/10 @jethroscocktails

I’ve been to A LOT of food festivals but this one?! 10/10! 🤌🏽

Fall Around and Find Out 🍂
STOP 2: SOUTHERN SMOKE FESTIVAL 🔥

And when I tell you @southernsmokefoundation might be one of the BEST food festivals I’ve ever attended?! I’m not even kidding!

My ONLY complaint is that it needs to be TWO days because one day is simply NOT enough! 😂

And not only is the food AMAZING but it’s all for a good cause! @southernsmokefoundation raises money to support food and beverage industry workers in need and they raised $2 MILLION this year alone! 👏🏽

Of course I’ll be back next year!

What other events, restaurants, or experiences should I check out next this fall in Houston? 👀🍂 taken in Discovery Green by @nadirahs_world

‘Tis the season to lock in 🔒

We waste too much time planning, “perfecting” and waiting. It’s time to stop collecting information and start taking action.

Choose ONE thing you want to do before the year ends and LOCK IN. by @nadirahs_world

Your answer can sound good and still leave half the question unanswered.

That’s what makes this Pave HER Way application tricky.

Several of the questions are asking for more than one thing and every part needs to be answered clearly.

I broke down one of the biggest questions so you can see exactly what I mean.

And if you’re applying and want another set of eyes before submitting, I opened three application audit spots where I’ll personally review and revise your answers before you submit.

My ABSOLUTE favorite season is here! 🍂

Sooo it’s time to *fall around & find out* where the good food, new experiences, and more reasons to get out the house in Houston are!

Kicked off my fall adventures with an *amazing* 2 day food festival @chefsforfarmersfoodandwine and I had thee BEST time!

Not only was the food festival great but I needed assistance upgrading my tickets to VIP and received the BEST customer service! Their next stop is in Dallas in November. (I wish I had tickets 😩) Highly recommend going!

Sooo glad I upgraded to VIP with more drinks, food, and of course AC but….

really bc who would have thought that squash and corn ice cream sandwich would be SOOOO good @honeychildssweetcreams 😋 I’m HOOKED!

These stations saw me one too many times 😂

I don’t remember the flavor of this gelato from @gelatotrike but OMG 100/10!! I’m still thinking about it.

Not a huge mushroom fan but this quesadilla from @ninfasoriginal definitely changed my mind. 😋

@commonbondbistroandbakery chicken and biscuit had me ready to make a chicken pot pie! Phenomenal!

And the sweet corn and crab soup situation from @theaudreyrestaurant …. delicious!

I’ve been trying to get to @coarse_tocourse for thee longest.

This is probably the best brisket that I have ever had! Making my way here very soon 😋 (Another reason I’m glad I got VIP tickets)

The dance competition was so funny 😆 but they definitely cheated the lady in the green dress because she should have won lol

Unlimited food and drinks? Why yes please!

Love the fact that @chefsforfarmersfoodandwine pairs local Houston chefs with local farmers… swipe to see what happened at the end of day 2 with this 🤍

Not even up for debate! IYKYK @marmoitalian

If you haven’t been to @junhtx let this be your sign to go!

One of my favorite restaurants in HTX owned by two of my favorite chefs @chefevelyngarcia @chefhenrylu from my favorite cooking competition @bravotopchef

A food fest that sends you home with fruits and veggies?? Unheard of! @chefsforfarmersfoodandwine

Some of my little trinkets 🤍

Tried the dreamsicle matcha & arroz con leche latte from @duohouston at the food festival and IMMEDIATELY went to go pur taken in Houston, Texas by @nadirahs_world
