The light before the story.

A sunset settling into the lake. A shikara at rest. A city held gently by its hills. And a home, built slowly over six years, waiting for you to walk in.

Nadi — a channel through which energy flows. It’s where the name comes from. It’s also where the story begins.

Nadis — A Life in Flow. Coming soon.

There are places you visit, and then there are places you slowly begin to feel.

This spring, we’re journeying into the magic of Kashmir — its mountains, rivers, forests, music, food, stories and stillness.

From the mountains of Sonmarg to the cultural heart of Srinagar, we’ll experience the valley beyond the usual itinerary, through:

• Yoga, breathwork & meditation
• Forest walks, trails & hikes
• Nature & riverside immersions
• Kashmiri food & local experiences
• Crafts, culture & heritage
• Sufi music & a special concert evening
• Bonfires, sound & quiet time

A journey to slow down. To breathe, listen, explore, share and simply be.

By the river, time remembers how to slow down.
From Nadis, the best journeys are sometimes the shortest. A quiet meadow, a forgotten orchard, a stream where tea tastes better because there is nowhere else to be. We pack the basket, point toward the nature, and leave the itinerary behind.

Kashmir reveals itself most generously to those who stop looking for attractions and begin noticing moments.

National Handloom Day is celebrated on the day the Swadeshi Movement was launched in 1905. Observed annually, this day highlights the sector’s cultural and economic importance — supporting livelihoods across India and empowering women, who make up over 70% of weavers and allied workers.

Across the RARE community, several partner hotels are doing their bit to keep these traditions alive and visible. They take travellers beyond the finished textile and into weaving villages and workshops, where they can meet artisans, understand age-old techniques and see the craft at its source.

In doing so, they help keep these crafts visible, valued and very much alive.
