I enjoy photographing landscapes, wildlife and still lifes. Sometimes I even try my hand at street or travel photography. All images are mine. No AI.

I hardly ever shoot portraits, because I don't like directing models or being into people's faces. A recent camera club competition forced me to overcome this reluctance. Luckily at The Photography Show I passed by a stand that sold studio lights and demonstrated how they work with models. I found this one quite interesting, and took some quick shots over the heads of other bystanders with a small point and shoot which I had purchased the day before. During the editing process I changed the background. In the competition the image scored higher than some pictures into which I have invested much more thought, preparation and attention to detail. Sometimes you just need luck and being at the right place at the right time. #portrait #portraitphotography #portraitphotographer #omtg7 #omtoughtg7 @sheclicksnet @ap_magazine @appicoftheweek #appicoftheweek by @nadjawendt
