It's crazy how so much can change in just one month. Trying to find the hidden blessings in day to day life. Grateful for all the people that have made life a little easier this past month. by @nagasakodesigns

Starting all over again...
.
Thank you to everyone that has been reaching out this past week. My family and I are safe, together and are one of the few with a house standing. Our `ohana has been in the Lahaina community for over 4 generations and 100 years. Many of our extended family have lost their homes, and businesses did not make it. But, we will rebuild. We will come back stronger.
.
Obviously, this is a video from a past that we will never see again, taken over 10 years ago in front of the Nagasako building on Front Street. I want to remember Lahaina like this. by @nagasakodesigns

Tips on wrapping a sunrise shell:
1. Use 24 gauge half-hard wire. I like this kind of wire because it shapes around the shell easily. Thicker wire may break the delicate shells.
2. Wrap your wire around the two grooves beside the middle of the shell.
3. Once wrapped, bend the wires on the back to keep tension on the shell so it doesn't slip out of your wire wrap.
.
I created this video because I had a lot of questions on how to wrap the shells. What do you want to see next?

How to make a pendant bail:
1. Use 22 or 24 gauge wire. Make a loop with your pliers about 1 inch from the end of the wire.
2. Slide your pendant onto the loop. Use your pliers to close the loop and cut off excess wire with your cutters on the short end of the wire.
3. Slide a bead onto the long end of the wire.
4. Using your looping pliers, wrap two loops around flush to the bead.
5. Using your pliers and wire cutters, wrap wire around the bottom of the loops close to the bead. Cut of remaining wire.
6. Now you have a pendant that can slide onto any necklace!
