I’ve been busy, so slacking on the comics. This is the first time I’ve used procreate in the hopes I could be a little faster than paper, but I don’t know if it helped.

Zucchini dream with @gibbons.ila

I don’t think I’ll do this again. I had to draw while it was a 3D surface and that was difficult. The ink bleed on the paper and that was also frustrating. And finally I may not have used the right glue as it kept popping apart.

Not sure if I’ll do one in color again either.

I went over to a friend’s house for dinner. While in their kitchen I noticed an ant trap. Me being the polite guest that I am, immediately pointed it out. I then explained how we don’t have ants because we use diatomaceous earth. So my dream decided to put me in check with this nightmare.

The last panel is inspired by what I look like when opening my front camera.

We once made a reservation to a dinner. The place requests that your party books as one group. We didn’t do that and caused a bit of pain for the establishment who worked hard to accommodate us. So I felt bad and brought a gift. Well every year we go back and I bring a little offering because I still feel bad about it. 😅😫

So weird!! Posted this earlier and it evaporated. Not in recently deleted or archived. Not even in comment history. 🥸

Dream is based on a real conversation. I don’t know what I was comparing the movie to but it was definitely not a book. Not sure why my dream had me speaking to (no spoilers) the “thing” I was talking to and it felt like we were either best buds or in a long term relationship.

Cleared up in the earlier mysteriously deleted post, that I originally watched this with @crazypoorasian_10

Materials used
Recycled Amazon packing paper
Black pens and markers of various brands and sizes.
A white paint pen found on sale at Craftwarehouse
Dreams

Zuck don’t delete this I looooooooove energy sucking data centers and addictive social media aimed at kids.

Thanks to @confidentsalt._ for visiting me in my dreams and allowing me to share it as a comic.

I used left over newsprint junk mail ad, and painted it with acrylic. I’m not sure how I feel about it.

Pros
Larger surface
Kinda cool texture with the bleed through

Cons
Paper easily rips… my pencil punctured through a few times.
Can’t really erase pencil marks well without the fear of ripping the whole thing.

Still on the fence on the fence about recycling. efff the planet wereallgonnadieanyway ….amiright?😅

I welcome your thoughts on this experimental surface.

This is a a dream I have every once in a while and it is soooo stressful. @sarah_arslanian thanks again for steering my decision on which dream to do by sharing your dank baby memes.

Another drawing of my dreams. I made an appointment with the eye doctor after this dream.
