One of the many requirements for getting an @kmablackbelt was to create a musical form. Here it is. 🎶: “You don’t own me” by @callmesaygrace performed by @naya_says at the end of day 1; after the 2 mile run and the conditioning portion of the test. Hope ya dig! Day 2 let’s go! taken in KMA: Black Belt Champions by @naheedn

👺RED👹When @naya_says earned her red belt we set out to commemorate the moment with a fun shoot at Elysian park. The concept was simply a hyper-stylized performance of a form she practiced so much that it could be done with a blindfold on at the edge of the city. She only fell off once (I’ll share the blooper if I can find it). 😂🤣 Dad sat on the edit far too long but finally turned it into a spec for @nike. Not sure if they are involved in Martial Arts but they should be 🤷🏻‍♂️ Anyways, now seems appropriate to share as she is testing for her black belt this weekend! More to come on that. For now we hope you enjoy! 🥋 The name of the form is Tae Gae. The name of the school that invested so much into her is @kmablackbelt. Styled by dad, hair by mom, makeup by @sabrina_rana and performed by @naya_says! Shout out to all the incredible humans we are lucky enough to be surrounded by for the inspo! 🎶: ai cuz dad can’t sing taken in Elysian Park by @naheedn

Officially unofficial @nikewomen running ad (cuz dad is currently obsessed with making spec ads 🤷🏻‍♀️). On a more important note I’ve been running 2-2.5 miles 3x per week for my @kmablackbelt black belt test for almost 3 months now. My fastest time so far is 15:35 for 2 miles and 19:27 for 2.5 miles. I’ve shaved over 3 minutes off of my slowest 2 mile run time 😳😅. Feels good to see the progress I’ve made. Dad says it’s because I have the runs… 💩🤪 by @naheedn
