by Mohammed Alsaleem (1939–1997)
A foundational figure in Saudi Arabia’s modern art movement, Alsaleem is known for developing “horizonism” — a style inspired by the layered horizons of Riyadh’s desert skyline.

He held Riyadh’s first art exhibition in 1967 and later founded Dar Al-Funoon, the city’s first art space. taken in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia by @nahobserves
