Had a good day today, finishing with a 245kgs total at 65kg body weight and getting 10kgs over the All-American Record!

I am blessed to announce that I have accepted my spot on TEAM USA🇺🇸 to compete on an international stage in Palmira, Colombia🇨🇴 for the Pan American Junior Championships!

Junior Pan-Ams was definitely a success.This was an amazing experience and a huge eye opener to how huge the sport of weightlifting is and how tall the ladder is to being “the best”. I feel as if this international meet was a good end to my junior/ 61kg weight class career and I’m VERY excited to see what the next weight class and the senior category has for me!

I want to thank @mhu_weightlifting for the AMAZING program that put me on that stage. My coach was the one that saw the plan before I did and I’m forever thankful for giving me the opportunity to represent both Mars Hill University and the United States!

I want to also thank @orlandostrength for ALL the support and information about all of this. Just knowing that 3 months ago I didn’t know anything about Team USA but once I was invited you didn’t hesitate to step forward and help me navigate through the entire process and reach out to others to help when you couldn’t.

I want to finally thank @jacksonvillestrength for the open arms coaching me on this trip and giving me the support and strength I needed for that stage! Being able to trust in your numbers and coaching was the best thing I could’ve done.

Had a good time again in Colorado Springs!
After 3 months of being unable to lift anything close to what I did on the platform, I’m super happy to be back under the bar with little to no pain again thanks to @mhu_weightlifting
