INHERIT: That's the word @naiftasarim and @natolia.istanbul chose to describe the project, Natolia (Istanbul, Turkey).

Every design starts as an idea, a word, a feeling, a sketch, before it becomes a space. TYPE, our theme for 2026, celebrates that starting point.

The welcome begins before you step inside. At @bargabriel.ist the warmth of the interior reaches out to the street. An open frontage, seating along the façade and the glow of the bar bring the life inside into conversation with the neighbourhood.

We wanted that first glimpse from the pavement to carry the same warmth as the seat waiting inside. taken in Bar Gabriel by @naiftasarim

Hospitality was the starting point. For @bargabriel.ist we designed a space around the connection between a host and a guest. Across 52 square metres, the bar brings people together, while intimate seating areas offer room for quieter conversations.

Warm wood tones, textured surfaces and carefully placed light give the interior a familiar ease. The details invite you to look closer; the atmosphere invites you to settle in.

A small space with a generous welcome.

A proud moment for Cielo Marbella!✨

We’ve been shortlisted for the 2026 Restaurant & Bar Design Awards, one of the world’s most recognised awards dedicated to hospitality design.

From the first sketches to every detail that makes Cielo what it is today, a lot of creativity and passion went into bringing this rooftop to life.

A big congratulations to everyone behind Cielo. This one is worth a toast🥂 taken in Florentine - Marbella by @naiftasarim
