Welcome to our Omega Enlightenment Series: Highlighting Notable Nigerians Across the Diaspora. As part of Achievement Week 2026, the Brothers of Zeta Xi Nu Chapter, the Naija Ques, invite you to discover the people whose ideas, creativity, leadership, and service have shaped Nigeria and influenced the world. Through these spotlights, we will explore their cultural roots, celebrate their contributions, and deepen connections between the Motherland and the diaspora. Our first entry honors Wole Soyinka. Born in Aké, Abeokuta, in present-day Ogun State, Soyinka is a playwright, poet, novelist, and activist of Yoruba heritage. His work draws deeply from Yoruba traditions while confronting questions of power, freedom, and human dignity. In 1986, he became the first African awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature. His writing and activism demonstrate the power of cultural knowledge—and the courage required to challenge injustice. We begin with Soyinka, whose words invite us to think critically, honor our heritage, and use our voices with purpose. Follow @naijaques as we share more stories of Nigerian achievement. #OmegaEnlightenmentSeries #AchievementWeek2026 #WoleSoyinka #ZetaXiNu #NaijaQues by @naijaques

Achievement carries a responsibility: to make the road wider for those who come after us. From November 8–15, the Brothers of Zeta Xi Nu Chapter, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Lagos, Nigeria, the Naija Ques invite you to Achievement Week 2026. We give thanks for the shoulders on which we stand and consider what our own shoulders must now carry. Our founders entrusted us with principles that demand something of us: Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift. Each generation must give those principles life through its work. This year, that work means honoring Nigerian culture and heritage, supporting family health and wellness, creating space for meaningful conversations, nurturing young artists, and recognizing those whose service strengthens our communities. Through our Mama Care initiative and African Joy Drive, that commitment continues beyond the week—because families need care, children deserve opportunity, and service requires consistency. Here on African soil, we carry Omega’s legacy with a deep responsibility to the people and communities around us. May the young people we encourage, the families we support, and the partnerships we build become part of the legacy we leave. Join us. Support the work. Help us give achievement a lasting purpose. Friendship is Essential to the Soul. #AchievementWeek2026 #ZetaXiNu #NaijaQues #OmegaPsiPhi #LagosNigeria CommunityUplift AfricanExcellence by @naijaques

From the Men of Zeta Xi Nu Chapter, we pause today to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to something greater than themselves. Memorial Day is more than a long weekend. It is sacred remembrance. We remember the silence carried by folded flags. The weight of empty seats at family tables. The names etched into stone. The sacrifices that allowed generations to live, dream, build, and become. As Brothers of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., we stand in reverence for those who answered the call with courage, discipline, and unwavering commitment to this nation. To every fallen hero: We remember you. We honor you. Your memory lives on forever in our hearts. #MemorialDay #OmegaPsiPhi #ZetaXiNu #13thDistrict #MilitaryHonor NeverForgotten FriendshipIsEssentialToTheSoul by @naijaques
