I used to have to justify every single expense in my life. Including self care which, btw ladies, is a form of self love.

So for an entire year, I stopped doing something I loved.

Getting my nails done was my time, my treat. Four hours a month, and it cost more than my monthly business overhead.

That season taught me a lot about sacrifice, priorities & what I was willing to give up temporarily for the life I wanted long term.

Depriving yourself was never the goal. Getting aligned was.

These days I enjoy nail day, take the time out & don’t feel guilty about it. Even better when I can bring my pup along too @nailbawse 🥹🥰

The manicure was never really the investment, more like building a life where I no longer had to choose.
