Someone asked me what my job is.
I answered: “Nail technician.”
The reaction? “Oh… so you don’t really do much.”

In reality, this “not much” means long hours bent over a table, a tired back, eyes focused on every tiny detail, and hands that have to stay steady even after the tenth appointment of the day.
It means paying attention to hygiene, shapes, durability, trends and of course, to every client’s wishes.

It means being a little bit of an artist, a little bit of a psychologist, and very well organized.
Fixing nails that “didn’t break on anything,” creating designs that look simple but require experience, and smiling even when the exhaustion kicks in.

But this “not much” also means the satisfaction at the end, the genuine smile in the mirror, the confidence a client leaves with, and knowing you made someone’s day a little better.

No, I don’t “do nothing.”
I do a job that shows in the details and is felt in the confidence of those who sit at my table 💅✨

POV: You thought being a nail tech was just about doing pretty nails… 💅🏼🎀

Turns out, you’re also a photographer, content creator, video editor, social media manager, receptionist, and a professional nail supply addict. 😂😭

Behind every beautiful set, there’s so much more than people realise — the late nights, the endless messages, the hours spent creating content, and the constant pressure to improve.

But then a client looks at her nails, smiles, and says, “OMG, I LOVE THEM!” 🥹💗

And suddenly, it’s all worth it.

Because at the end of the day, it’s not just nails. It’s my passion, my creativity, and something I’m so proud to call mine. 🤍
