For the September Lacquer Drop, ANLAC will bring Gumo. It's inspired by Gumo from Ori and Blind Forest.
This is a purple based one with purple shimmer and pink-golden magnetic shimmer.

Launch will be Sep 1st to Sep 7th. Only available @nailstuff.ca

4hrs later, I realize this posted without a caption 😂😭 "I repel technology" (if you can identify the quote, we are now best friends 🐀✨❤️).

TL;DR: US orders are delayed because new hazmat labelling requirements meant my boxes were too small for the required labelling, so now I have to unpack and repack them all.

A whole lot of pre-orders arrived at NailStuff at almost exactly the same time, creating a sizable mountain of orders to pack.

While I’ve been working through them, there have also been additional requirements affecting nail polish shipments into and within the US.

Because nail polish is considered hazardous material for shipping purposes, US parcels need the correct documentation, shipping service and product labelling. The newest complication is that the required hazmat label has to be displayed on the outside of the parcel at a specific size.

"Okay, so just stick a label on the box. What's the issue?!"... Seems logical, except the label does not properly fit on the boxes I use for most orders. 😭

I test printed a tiny version myself. It was very cute, but then I realized there were specs for the label, so my tiny, cute label was tiny, cute and non-compliant.

So now the US orders I had already packed need to be reopened and repacked into larger boxes so everything can be labelled correctly and travel without issues and without the potential for a $50 fine *per parcel* for non-compliance.

My workflow for US orders is already lengthy and now this just adds another step. But the extra time for US orders causes a knock on effect to Canadian orders, as I'm not getting to those as quickly. I’m so sorry for the extra delay. I’m working through US orders as quickly as I can, and tracking will be sent as soon as each parcel is on the way.

Thank you so much for your patience, understanding and for supporting my Canadian nail polish shop and for showing so much love to all of the wonderful brands who work with me. I appreciate you all so, so much.
