el viaje de mis sueños para celebrar mis 24 años de vida.

este último año de mi vida fue, sin duda, el más transformador. seguía encontrándome en situaciones de caos total una y otra vez, y hubo muchos momentos en los que pensé que nunca saldría de allí.

una de las verdades más difíciles de la vida es darte cuenta de que has tenido un papel importante en la historia de tu propio sufrimiento. pero el cambio verdadero sucede en ese momento de frustración total con uno mismo; cuando te das cuenta de que ya has llorado suficientes lágrimas. cuando los cimientos debajo de nuestros pies se desintegran, es en la destrucción de todo lo conocido donde un cambio profundo y liberador se vuelve posible.

he aprendido que la vida continuamente nos da oportunidades para superarnos. con eso entendí que me toca elegirme a mí misma y convertirme en mi propio refugio, porque nadie vendrá a salvarme. y con mucha resistencia y, después de mucho esfuerzo, hoy puedo decir que de verdad siento que estoy floreciendo para convertirme en la mujer que siempre he querido ser, y cada día estoy más cerca.

estoy tan agradecida con todo lo que me ha traído la vida: lo bueno, lo malo, lo bello y lo feo. hoy tengo tantas cosas que, no hace mucho, solo existían en mis sueños. no lo podría haber logrado sin todas las personas tan hermosas con las que me he rodeado; ustedes que me quieren y que me apoyan aun siendo tan pendeja. los amo.

terminar el año 23 y empezar el año 24 en la ciudad de méxico fue lo mejor que pude haber hecho. me dio mucha felicidad reencontrarme con una amiga de mi niñez y hacer tantas amistades nuevas e increíbles que de verdad hicieron que este viaje fuera aún más hermoso. estoy tan agradecida de haber tenido la oportunidad de viajar a la tierra hermosa de mis padres y poder sentirme más cerca de mi cultura, mi familia y de mí misma a través de esta experiencia. mi méxico querido y lindo, regresaré. taken in Ciudad de México by @nairobbee

celebrated the best girl EVER over the weekend 🥰

i can’t believe i’ve been blessed with 6 years of nonstop adventures with my lyla, each is better than the last.

in this life, i got to choose her- she didn’t get to choose me. i do everything i can to honor that choice, and make sure she is happy with it too. our bond is one of a kind and i can’t help but to be so grateful that i get to experience such a big love. this life we have together makes me the happiest. there really couldn’t be a more perfect girl for me ❤️ by @nairobbee

and it’s a wrap on my first official season ❄️

fell so much, but learned even more ! last year i wasn’t sure i was ever going to be able to stop on my toe edge without folding myself in half, but i got up every time and tried again. I am still no pro, but the improvement is undeniable. Next season i’ll be doing backflips !! 🏂

thankful for my beautiful state and the nature it provides ❤️🏔️
