☀️ Summer has definitely been summering! 💜✨

June and July have been a whirlwind—in the best way. From traveling to Columbus, OH for the @aamctoday Regional Conference, to Atlanta and spending time on the campus of @morehouseschoolofmedicine meeting colleagues in person for the first time, presenting the PNW regional campus to the incoming class of Medical Students, chaperoning the YEC college tour with @build2lead. Hooked up with my mommy down south and we spent time with our Georgia family and loves❤️❤️
It’s been a season of growth, connection, and purpose.

Back home, I jumped right into our HCAP Summer Pathway Program, continuing to pour into the next generation of future healthcare professionals. Breaking bread and meeting @joelbervell was an absolute highlight! I also had the honor of volunteering with @virginiamasonfranciscanhealth at the Mariners game, helping provide prostate cancer screenings and promote men’s health awareness. 💙

In between all of that… I started DIY landscaping in my yard 🌿, celebrated three graduations 🎓, a few birthdays, Juneteenth ❤️🖤💚threw a surprise party 🎉, hosted our family’s monthly Sunday dinner 🍽️, and made time for the people who fill my cup. ❤️

Busy? Absolutely.
Blessed? Without a doubt.

Here’s to a summer filled with purpose, service, laughter, and making memories that matter. The best is still ahead. ☀️🙌🏾💜

Thank you, @morehouseschoolofmedicine, for welcoming the Y.E.C. of @build2lead to campus!

We traveled from Seattle to Atlanta with six brilliant young scholars who are committed to their futures. During our visit, we had the privilege of hearing from incredible leaders—Drs. Kevin Smith, Geary Franklin, and Ngozi Anachebe—whose words challenged our students to dream bigger, lead boldly, and start pursuing those dreams today.

Through the @moreincommonalliance, Washington State students accepted to Morehouse School of Medicine have the opportunity to complete their first two years in Atlanta before returning home to the Pacific Northwest for their clinical training. We were also inspired by the amazing MiCA Ambassadors, who gave us a campus tour and shared their journeys as medical students.

This is what building a pipeline looks like. We are bridging the gap, creating opportunity, and growing the next generation of Black and Brown physicians who will serve the Seattle region and beyond.

I am so honored to model and bring her beautiful custom made dress to life!!

The Bellagio did not disappoint in their replication of Lunar 🧧New Year, the year of the Fire Horse🐴 and my spirit animal, the panda 🐼 bear made with hundreds and hundreds of black and white roses.
