Life happens, but so does growth. 💫
I took a step back from posting to restrategize, refocus, and put energy into the projects that matter most. While I don’t love leaving my accounts quiet for months, the time away gave me total clarity on where I’m headed.
One of the biggest highlights from my time away was participating in #TechGirlsDrive with @tech4dev
Together, we reached over 400 girls across 4 schools, breaking down barriers around STEM and opening up real conversations about technology and the world they are growing into. We spoke about the responsible use of AI, helping them understand that AI is not here to replace them, but to support and empower them.
There was a lot of learning and unlearning. Some of the girls came in unsure and believed STEM was not for them. But as we talked, asked questions, and shared ideas, I began to see a shift. More confidence. More curiosity. More belief in what they can become.
With support from tech4dev, we explored programs and opportunities that can help girls get started on their STEM journey, including their bootcamps and initiatives.
This drive was done in commemoration of International Women’s Day by the United Nations and I am grateful to have been part of an initiative that creates awareness and opens doors for young girls.
My heart is full. Not just because I showed up, but because of the impact made and the seeds planted. If even one girl chooses a path in STEM because of this experience, then it was worth it.
I remain committed to creating more spaces where girls can see, believe, and step into their place in STEM. 🚀
I’m officially back, and I can’t wait to share what’s coming next. Thank you for sticking around! 🚀✨

✨ Live Today: My Budget Tracker App is live.

I built the budget tracker app as part of the @womenindefi_org JavaScript Program, this app helps you:

• Log incomes & expenses with ease
• Switch currencies on the fly using real-time exchangerate.host data
• Visualize your cash flow via an interactive Chart.js bar chart
• Export CSV snapshots & email full reports
• Install the PWA on mobile for offline use

The UI features consists of:
• Glassmorphic cards with a soft pastel palette for an inviting look • Neumorphic inputs and hover-lift animations that react to your cursor • Sticky top nav for quick jumps to Balance, Add, Transactions, or Chart

Why I love it:
• No backend needed, everything runs in the browser
• Instant feedback with live data and animations
• Build-your-own upgrade path: add categories, IndexedDB, authentication… the sky’s the limit

Massive thanks to @womenindefi_org for crafting such a practical, ambitious project to work on. Go check it out and let me know your thoughts below in the comment session 👇
