Just us 2 girls, 1 sake bar 🍶👩🏻‍🐰‍👩🏽 We are incredibly excited to invite you to our Summer Gala & Opening Preview on Saturday, June 27th, from 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM.

We met our Kickstarter goal all because of our community but just because we’ve met our goal doesn’t mean we can’t continue the party! We’ve still got tickets and much love to give…here’s what to expect:

Here’s the flow of the evening:

🍶 3:00 PM | The Welcome We’ll begin with a traditional Kagami Biraki (sake barrel-breaking ceremony) to officially welcome good fortune and connection into our new home.

🌿 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM | The Courtyard We’ll head out to the back courtyard to enjoy the afternoon sun, light bites, and a very special custom sake cup experience hosted by JRock Ceramics. Limited to ticket holders.

🎶 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM | Vinyl & Nightfall We’ll dim the lights, drop the needle on the record player, and drink until the night falls.

Plenty of food and drink throughout the evening. Snacks from our neighbors like Delish Ethiopian and El Sabor Katracho…even a surprise 🍕🍕🍕and rest assured some signature dishes from Yael @nam.revlis and a very looooooooooooong Italian dessert.

How to join us: Tickets are live exclusively through our Kickstarter campaign! By grabbing a spot, you are directly helping us continue to fund the final, crucial details needed to get our bar open at the end of June.

WE DID IT, SEATTLE! 🎉

Sake Noire is officially set to open its doors in Hillman City at the end of June! But before we welcome you in, we’re doing a little something…

Today, we launched our Kickstarter campaign to raise $20k. These funds are going straight into the final details to make our space the absolute best it can be.
The journey to this point has been long, full of lessons, and fueled entirely by a deep love for sake, food, music, and this incredible community. Now, we’re asking for your help to take us across the finish line.

This campaign video was pulled together in a single night with a ton of love from friends and family, edited in two days, and polished by some expert homies. At the end of the day, we’re just two women making our dreams happen with creativity, heart, and a whole lot of elbow grease. 💪✨

We’re back for our annual AANHPI Month spectacular, and this time, we’re taking over the heart of Pioneer Square. Join us at our dear friends’ spot, @parlourpioneersquare for an evening where cinema meets the soul of jazz.

🎬 The Vibe: Wong Kar-wai Core
Our co-founder Jun Iida @juniidamusic returns to lead a live journey through the iconic jazz scores of Asian Cinema.

Dress Code: Inspired by your favorite Asian films. Think mid-century glamour, “In the Mood for Love” aesthetics, or streetwear chic. We’re going classic Wong Kar-wai style—come sexy, come hungry, and come jazzy.

T.V Dinner Series @mimibarsea part 2! Monday April 27th from 5pm - 9pm!

✨Featuring✨

🫑🥘Curry Stuffed Peppers - stir fried rice with beef stuffed and baked into peppers, sake kasu “vodka” sauce, garlic aonori mashed potatoes, and a black sesame brownie cake

🐤🍅Tori Rollatini - Italian chicken roll with ham, cheese and spinach (kind of like chicken cordon bleau), breaded and baked. Served with garlic aonori mashed potatoes and a black sesame brownie cake

All sets come with miso soup and pickles. Add on a glass of sake to go with your meal and/or support the bar with a drink purchase!

We cannot accommodate any dietary restrictions at this time!

KUSHIAGE NIGHT AT STREAMLINE HERE WE GOOOOOOO!! @streamlinetavern

We’re running through April as fast as OG Sega Mario. And one of our bosses to defeat is doing this popup at Streamline at their famous downstairs window. I’m a huge fan of the industry bar and what an honor to dish up some fun food and sake in their space! Thank you to @mattpachmayr always and forever

If you haven’t gotten the theme yet, yes we’re doing I-talian twist on Japanese classics @nam.revlis Fun sauces, fried sexy shit on a stick, and yes Jell-O shots.

Many of you may know by now that I am doing a crab boil popup with @sakenoire_ at @pidgin.cooperative on April 13/14, but I wanted to dig a little deeper into my love of Dungeness crab.

I am an east coast gal, and on the occasion we did get dungeness crab to serve for omakase it was one of the most expensive items on our list next to geoduck and spot prawns. They would arrive alive in clean salted water and I was always moved by their bright color and immaculate flavor.

I was grateful to move west and find all of these fruits of the sea way more accessible. I miss Maine lobster, but I would never ship it here as an ingredient to serve. We are celebrating local this time around, and Ive contacted more than a handful of crabbers to make this dinner happen, one whole plump crab per person!. Dungeness season is here! Long live the PNW’s sweetest, juiciest claw king. Plump, unctuous, and absolutely loaded with meat…and we’ve got the sake and butter!

For two nights, we’re taking over Pidgin Cooperative with a full-on crab boil dinner.

⚔️ Beware the Ides: Sake vs. Wine Dinner @respiteseattle 🍶🍷

On Sunday, March 15th, we recreate history’s greatest betrayal… but with good food and drink.

In honor of Julius Caesar’s tragic evening, we’re throwing a Japanese-Roman inspired four-course feast and turning it into a full-blown beverage match!

Hanley (Team Wine) and I (Team Sake) will battle course by course while Madisyn + Yael serve dishes like spring asparagus with tartare sauce and involtini alla romana with Japanese curry.
Each round, we get 1 minute to plead our case.
You get the rest of the night to drink, eat, and vote like a very well-fed Roman senate.

🗓 Sunday, March 15
⏰ 6pm–9pm
💸 $130 per person — all inclusive
🍽 4 courses + sake & wine pairings

Will sake seize the empire…
or will wine, the official beverage of toga parties, keep its throne?

Met a female leader in shochu mastery, witnessed the tireless labors of love in crafting this unique spirit. Uh, Quan also got adopted, and basically had one of the most memorable days of my life. Thank you all so much for your hospitality and love. Especially to @lyman.eats.drinks for making this all reality. I promised Kinuko sama we would make Sake Noire the best bar it can be , so I really can’t mess it up now. by @nam.revlis
