So I did a thing 👨🏾‍🎓
I’m officially a graduate of NHI @nhimassageschool After 9 months and 600+ hours, we have finally made it to the end of this chapter. However, this is only the beginning of our journey as massage therapists.
Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this experience. To my fellow classmates from Group 80: I hope you know how amazing you are for locking in, showing up, and helping each other accomplish this goal. I’m excited to see what beautiful opportunities life brings in the next few months. ✨

Quick story time 📖 Why Massage Therapy?
The quick answer that I typically give is that physical touch is my #1 love language, and being able to transmute my energy into helping someone else experience pain relief or simply relax in this chaotic world is definitely something I can see myself doing.
Besides, as a dance instructor, I already work so intimately with the body that this felt like a natural progression and the perfect next step in my career.
The real inspiration behind it is a bit more vulnerable.
As someone who experienced sexual trauma as a kid, I always had a difficult time feeling safe in my own body, which is a major part of why I think I enjoy dance so much.

Since graduating high school, I’ve been blessed and very fortunate to dance for a living. Whether it was performing at Disneyland, choreographing for one of my weekly classes, judging competitions, or creating opportunities for others, dance has been my entire life for over a decade.
In 2023, I fully ruptured my left Achilles tendon. Then, in 2025, I experienced spinal/neck compression that was sending severe pain down my back and into my arm, to the point where I started losing feeling in some of my fingers.
After months of pain and waiting for doctors to tell me what was wrong, a friend of mine recommended his private clinic, where I was able to work with a neuromuscular specialist.
It was there that I saw results in just a few short sessions — through BODYWORK and hands-on therapy.
I was inspired to learn for myself, and now we are here!
