Shout out to the random birdwatcher that ran into me in the desert.

Tough couple months but gradually starting to feel human again. Motion is medicine. Go do what you love even when it feels hard. #slacklife

Exactly one year ago we named this line “Forthcoming” because we felt something building. We’d been working quietly for months and could see what was starting to take shape on the horizon.
•
Looking back, the name feels fitting. In 2025 we stepped into a lot, hosting the first U.S. speed highline competition, bringing the first U.S. urban speed comp to life, rigging one of the most advanced urban lines in the U.S. to date, and finally seeing our signature community event, 𝘼𝙧𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙈𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣(AiM), come together with 16 different entities involved and much more
•
It feels right to return to this spot again, to start the year off right. A little good luck charm. Maybe even a new tradition🤔
•
We’re excited for what 2026 has in store. If it comes together the way we’re hoping, it won’t just be a step forward for us, it’ll be a step forward for the community as a whole.
•
Cheers to a year of growth ✌️

I’m starting to like the idea of creating medium length videos around the projects I do. I can’t get behind the .5 second jump cuts that do well on reels and TikTok - it just doesn’t allow me to show the beauty in these projects the way I want to.

This clip is from a project in Fort Collins a little over a week ago. A small crew, a wide range of weather conditions, and the first rig of the year with summer vibes. The first day we rigged a gentle snowfall dusted us and made walking the line a bit frosty on the toes, but when we came back the next day, the sun came out and we basked in the rays, putting on a couple shades of tan. The line walked so well, and everyone got their fill of sessions. Brandon and I sent the line and going with the theme of Lion King names in this canyon, we dubbed this line “Long Live the King”.

Let me know if you guys like this format. I half make these videos for myself, but half for you guys to see a little bit into the projects that I love!

CHG Spring 23 (long post)

I made my traditional moab pilgrimage to Moab for spring break. This trip marks my 10th time in the desert. I've been reflecting on how these trips represent a huge amount of growth and progression as a person and athlete.

At first my trips were simple, mostly hiking and doing some easy canyons. When I started college, and started going with freinds, I progressed to doing more difficult canyons and climbing.

I first went to the fruitbowl in fall of 2021. I was a beginer highliner and was blown away by both the magnitude of the fruitbowl and the community that assembled around it. Since then, I have been to the fruitbowl several times to attend gatherings.

These community at these gatherings always facilitated huge opportunities to progress in highlining and I quickly went from being terrified on Deans line to comfortably crosing the 225m.

This trip was different, instead of going to the fruitbowl as a highliner, this time I was going as a facilitator. The goal of CHG this year was to provide as many new highliners with the chance for progression as we could.

Most of my week was spent rigging, teaching, and hanging out with friends. I didn't really highline untill my last day there. This was an interesting change of pace but I would not trade it for anything. It was really cool to see massive growth and progression, much like what I've gotten from Moab, in the dozens of new highliners that attended.

Some shots from recent projects. Since being back in Colorado, I've been out on a highlining mission every weekend. Winter highlining is a losing gamble and it seems like I've spent more time waiting for the wind to stop than highlining.

Even in bad conditions, I've loved being out, reconnecting with the community and getting myself honed back in on walking. Theres big projects coming this spring.
