When it comes to healthy skin and wellness overall, the neck is a key area of focus. Approximately 40 percent of lymph nodes are located in your neck and head, which is a major part of your body’s natural cleansing system.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, working on the neck is an essential step in stimulating your Qi (energy that flows through the body).
And of course, everything is connected.
We hold so much emotional tension in our neck, which affects the muscular system throughout the rest of the body and the structure of our face.
So when there is stagnation in any of these areas, tension, fluid, and toxins may accumulate, effecting not only the neck and facial skin, but functions of the whole body.

🖤This is why I have such a particular way of working on the neck and make it an area of focus for both my clients and for myself.

🖤When doing your skin care rituals at home, don’t forget to massage your products into the neck.🫶🏼

Most of the time anyway. Some days, it’s a high of 98😅 And it’s ACTUALLY this cold this morning here in Ohio. I had to turn the heat on this morning, so we’re going to be talking about more cold weather tweaks in our skincare and routines soon. Stay tuned.🫶🏼😘

This season, I’m trying to let what fuels my joy and body come naturally. Letting go of some of the high active energy that comes with Summer, and leaning into what I’m naturally drawn to when I slow down. Less rigorous schedule. More flow. It isn’t possible for us all every day, but these are some of my favorite ways to find energy as nature is moving closer toward our darker season.✨ Share some of your favorites with me:) I’d love to hear them!🥰🍂☀️

Over it. The complicity, the silence, and the protection of violence against women. Tired is an understatement.

Experience is part of the process. Processing can be painful. Pain can be a redirection. I wouldn’t be exactly where I want to be today without so many hardships. I hope you can see that in your own story.🫶🏼🤍

The Autumn Equinox arrives tomorrow.🍂🍄‍🟫🪹 I love the deep reflection that comes in slowly with the darkening days. Tomorrow ,especially, is a great day for such reflection, as the light and dark stand in complete balance. Use this guide to honor and celebrate both the light and darkness in you, what you have harvested this year, what you want to let fall away. Share your thoughts if it resonates with you🤗 Mabon blessings to all my loves!!🫶🏼💫
