@crazy88mma hosted an amazing women only sparring session yesterday, organized by @community_overcomp . Nearly two hours of friendly and fun sparring among the most badass women from all over the state. We are grateful for everybody who participated and, of course, for @community_overcomp for bringing the female Martial Arts community together, and for all the work they do to support women. Hopefully we can collaborate again in the near future. by @nameerfilenna

It's been years since I created "serious" self portraits. I loved morphing into characters that weren't really me. It was my escape and therapy for years, always inspired by either a piece of clothing, or something that somebody said to me, or a feeling that was boiling over inside. I was in a mood yesterday, inspired by a $3 skirt that I had purchased earlier in the day. Not really a true self portrait the way I used to do them - no studio, no real cameras, no strobes, just a cellphone and Lightroom Mobile -but I enjoyed the process. by @nameerfilenna

Foster puppy #19. Ranger. I had him with me for 5 weeks and he stole my heart. I seriously considered adopting him, but it would not have been fair to my own three dogs. I'm already spread too thin and often wish AI had more time to spend with each of them individually. But I lucked out. Ranger got adopted by an amazing family who is allowing me to "borrow" him every now and then and he came for a visit yesterday. It's as if he never left.

Foster puppy #18 - Woodstock. 16-week-old 20lb lab mix.
Before he came to me, he was described as a puppy who barks and whines a lot, rarely sleeps, grabs at clothes and hands, mouths hard and is overall a rather difficult puppy. I disagree with all of the above.
