Here’s to life at 46, living with an autoimmune disease.

Every morning, I wake up not knowing what version of my body I’m getting.

Some days, I can move.

Some days, I have to drag myself out of bed.

And that messes with you.

Not just physically.

Mentally.

Because it’s one thing to be tired.

It’s another thing to feel like your own body is working against you.

Then comes the brain fog.

Forgetting simple things.

Losing words.

Walking into a room and not knowing why.

Feeling like your mind is buffering while life keeps moving.

And emotionally, it takes a toll.

Because I’m used to doing things a certain way.

Moving fast.

Thinking fast.

Solving problems.

Pushing through everything.

Now I can’t always do that with the same speed.

The same focus.

The same efficiency.

That’s the new battle.

People see you standing and think you’re fine.

But inside, you’re recalculating everything.

Energy.

Pain.

Breathing.

Focus.

What you can do today without wrecking tomorrow.

Alright guys, I need help on this one.

I’m walking the same route again to grab lunch…

and I just passed the truck from the other video.

So I need you to tell me:

is this your favorite uncle’s truck?

Or is this your tío’s truck?

Because I don’t know.

I’m not trying to look inside.

I’m not trying to get involved.

I’m just trying to eat.

But on the way back…

I’m going to point the camera toward the truck for one second.

You guys let me know if you see grandpa in there.

Because I’m not looking.

I’m not doing this twice.

Alright, I’m headed back now.

Get ready.

I’m going to walk past…

and you guys tell me if he’s still posted up in there.

Because Downtown LA has me doing side missions just to get lunch.

I was just walking to grab a quick bite to eat in Downtown LA…

and somehow ended up in a side mission from GTA San Andreas.

I walk past this truck…

and immediately I’m like:

“Why am I seeing cheeks right now?”

So I keep walking.

Cross the street.

Turn back around.

And now I see legs in the air.

At that point, I’m thinking:

there is no way this is happening in broad daylight.

But it’s downtown LA…

so of course it is.

Next thing you know…

the truck starts rocking.

He’s in there fighting for his life.

She’s in there clocked in.

And I’m standing across the street like:

bro…

I just wanted food.

Then the door opens.

First he comes out.

Then she comes out.

And that’s when it hit me.

I’ve always wondered who is actually paying for this out here.

Now I know.

Somebody come get their grandpa.

Because Downtown LA is not real life anymore.
