Taking a moment to think about the journey I’ve been on before I tour with Pascol project in Edinburgh Fringe. It’s so easy to shift goal posts and feel like I’m never moving, but in actually fact, it wasn’t that long ago when I really wanted to be part of something just like this.

I remember thinking how stuck I was in the feeling of being in a band that felt like I was all the time pushing and throwing energy into it. I loved performing, but the industry started to strip away the joy of making and creating and within the band, it never quite felt equal.

I wanted something that felt like everyone was involved in the process of creating. I didn’t quite envisage that 5 years later I would be performing in two vocal performance groups and helping others to also feel the magic of this type of instantaneous, brave performance.

Every time I perform, it brings out something new in me, brings something more to the surface.

Choose your fighter 🌀
Which Pascol poster should we use for @edfringe?

This August, Pascol is coming to Edinburgh Fringe.
Six voices. Your stories. Live music created in the moment — using only voices, bodies and deep listening.

Every night will be different.
Nothing will be repeated.
Bring your stories.
We will sing them.
